^ I saw that movie and the ending was weird. Were they aliens or angels because they had wings and a spaceship?

That kinda reminds me of the story of the annunaki, nephilims and ancient astronauts. I think this tablet is ancient sumerian, notice the 3 figures in the hovering platform so i guess that movie got its inspiration from a range of different cultures.

The world isn't going to end.

Just because some ancient civilization, who didn't even have toilet paper to wipe their ***es with btw, looked at the stars and assumed that some sh!t is going to go down in the way way distant future because their gods whispered to their delusional priests, doesn't mean that we are all going to die.

Please.

had no idea or would've thought there was a thread here on 2012. just reading the many pages in here and its great seeing some peoples thoughts on this.

every time someone brings up 2012 i always think about how much it would suck if the world ends, but then i remember that i wouldn't have to pay off my student loans.

^That's a good way to think of it! Then again, if life ended, you wouldn't be doing a lot of thinking anyway.

When I come to threads about when existence is over, I wonder why we care. Because we think things to be around us, they exist. The TV in front of me exists because someone thought it to be there (designer of the TV and my parents for purchasing it because it was ideal to them for our living room). Thus, if thinking ends, existence ends.

Are you talking about the Mayans? they didn't say the world will end, they just predict that something will happen on that day, they were masters to predict events.

LMAO....Didn't these people kill people to make the sun god happy or some bullcrap like that???? :innocent:

... says who?

Do you really believe that some person can 'predict' the future by looking at the stars? I didn't hear anyone saying Mayans could predict 6 million Jews getting turned into either ash or soap... but then again, they did not know what Judaism was at the time, did they?

I do not buy this 2012 crap, and they did practice human-sacrifice at the time btw.

Well, if my 'search' will show me that they had predicted something major would be happening in 2012, then I'll save my time and energy, thank you very much.

I remember reading a book about this in school, there are drawings of all sorts of floating platforms and rather advanced weapons, I seem to remember, like rayguns.

Christian Audigier showing in Paris for SS10 is definitely a sign , Nostradamus could of warned us about this.

Yah, i remember hearing a story that the ancient sumerians created winged people that flew around and patroled their land, it seems today that the same sort of genetic manipulation is happening (remember the animal/human hybrid stem cells) so it makes you wonder how advanced the anceints were, plus some ancient egyptian hieroglyphs seem to show modern aero vehichles however they could be images that have been misinterpreted.

The Mayan Calender is about 15 seconds off from present time or something among that line. There is value in it due to Mayan civilization highly advanced in astronomy and mathematics. Has anyone heard of the "snake-scale climb" precessional clock over the Kuckulcan' pyramid's steps during the spring equinox? However, too many abuse it by smearing it in favor of their bull**** claims.
