DAMMIT!!!

This is even more painful than explaining to Paris Hilton what the back of the hand is...

When the end of the world comes, I would hope it would be like "A thief in the night". No extreme chaos or cycle of natural disasters. Just "Poof"...we're gone.

I have another solution but the "poof, we're gone" effect is the same. It's something like... H2SO4 + H20 + you = gone. Yikes!!!

This reminds me of how "the world was going to end" at the turn of the millenium and stupid people decided to stock up on hundreds of dollars of canned food and water bottles because they believed it...haha. i remember watching some talk show and this guy had spent like $20,000 on canned food because oooo HE WAS READY!!! I think I was about 13 at the time and even then I was like, what an idiot.

This is all funny to think about it and if its true, then its true. But I'm not going to drop everything and start doing crazy things like spending all my money or joining a native american tribe or something...hahaha...

...^ i didn't mean i look down on religious people in all ways- i have religious friends... but I highly doubt that they look up to my beliefs at all, just like i don't look up to theirs at all. You are telling me you don't look down on certain beliefs of people? What are your political beliefs?? Do you "disagree with" those who have completely opposite beliefs or do you think yours are superior? If any of you thought your beliefs weren't superior to everyone else's, wouldn't you want to change your beliefs?

Sure, there are religions which are more about "digging into yourself for strength and sharing it with those around you..." but that doesn't change the fact that it is fake, and humans are very capable of being happy and ethical without it.

Many of those religions that tell you to "dig into yourself" are actually more so considered philosophies and ways of life. Buddhism, for example is really more of philosophies and doctrines, or teachings to guide one to directly experience reality..which is rather humorous, considering you said that religion isn't reality and that science is, when many people consider buddhism their religion.

I'm not saying this to try and change what you believe because you are quite obviously already firm in the things you believe, but what makes science such a concrete belief? What is with people who can't seem to ever accept the fact that maybe, just maybe science isn't always 100% right, if right at all. Incase you forgot, not too long ago people believed the world was flat, and scientists even thought that the atom was the smallest thing, but it opened up and they found a ton of sh*t in there. I'm not saying that a man with a white beard came and created the earth and that adam and eve were the first people on earth; many theological scholars don't even think they were the only two on earth who populated. And as for your political example, why on earth would someone feel their views were superior just because they weren't in agreeance with someone else. After reading what you've written, I disagree with a great deal of it, but I don't feel my views to be superior. Humans don't rely on religion to be happy or moral. I don't know why we need it, but just because someone says it's so we won't feel afraid doesn't mean I'm going to jump on the wagon and totally believe it.

Hey, no need to get stressed about that. I mean, if you tell a joke and we don't laugh, it could be us that didn't get it, or it could be you that didn't tell it right. ;)

Interesting Information...
I really enjoy reading things like this....:ninja: :innocent:
I went to wikipedia and I always get lost on that site because I will type in one thing....the page will show information and then I will keep clicking on another "blue" word....and I keep going further and further down the "rabbit hole".....
I  it!!!!!

I do that on IMDB. I click on a random person and see if I can get to Lindsay Lohan from there.:ninja:

Umm ... like if tomorrow is the end of the world, today i'd ....umm... <<<wise thing, Joker, wise thing>>> ...umm... i'd go to Adriana's thread and bash her. .... pssh, f*ck that, i'll strip that hot guy in my PE class and molest him. :shifty:

^ Molesting a guy is always a good idea. :brows: (Oh my, I'm having criminal thoughts. :ninja: )

Nope, we are normal. Most guys love to be molested anyway, :innocent: especially when the world is comming to an end, of course. :innocent:

right about now Southern California looking more like the End of the World

how much more will the fire continue?

i know :( i hope not much longer

Btw, the Mayan Prophecy show is on History Channel right now, at least for the east coast

The funny about this is that I watched this with my mom last night (I am from Canada) so it's weird that a day after I see the tread!! As for the end of the world I really doubt it will happen in 2012. I am a christian, therefore, I read the bible and believe everyword. It doesn't say anywhere in the bible that the end of the world will happen in 2012. Only God knows when it will happen. How many times have they predict the end and it didn't happen? The Jehovah Witnesses(they call themselves christians, but their bible is not the same as the holy bible, therefore they have changed things in it) predicted the end of the world like 10 times!! 1926,1940,1975 ect... And we're still here!! So my guess is that, it will happen, but only God knows when and how!!
