i dont think the end of the world is something you can predict. it'll just happen, i dont think there should be a date on it like december 21, 2012 or whatever it is. there has been so many end of the world dates and yet we are still here...

swine flu is just one step harder flu. it does not kill you if you get right treatment and if you are naturally healthy people you do not even need any medicine, just rest. i called a swine flu line and they said me this.
and swine flu has taken off from the dangerous desiase list.

I had no idea there was a swine flu hotline!!! I wonder if I have time to call!

No, I've been on the phone with Dell (i.e., India) for 2 of the past 3 days, that's OK

at least we have here in finland.
I have asthma and I belong to that risk group so I freaked out a bit since we had our first swine flu case at work.
I called that hotline and asked ´´will I die now?´´ and that woman who answered phone just laughed ´´no, my dear, we have medicine for you´´.

Oh please this is so ridicolous,I mean do we really believe in a 3 thousand year superstition?Mayas even believed that bad weather was the result of Gods' fury and things like that and we're getting scared for another silly thing.
I just remember another "fake" catastrofic news,do you remember the Millenium Bug?I was ten years old and everybody said "Oh my god the world is ending,there won't be no technology etc ect" and what happened?? NOTHING!!

We won't die. The earth goes on the 21st December 2012 in the fifth deminsion. Only the people, who are ready to change their consciousness to the positive site, only these one will be alive after that. The bad won't be survice in the new world. The world will change in the positive after the year 2012, it will a world without hate, the people who are ready to change their consciosness, don't have to be afraid. Of course it can be that the telephone and internet don't work. but just for a time.

I agree this is much a do about nothing, and people are feeding the hype because they are selling books and drawing TV ratings and what not... also its something other than the economy to discuss

But the Earth is going to end, just probably in another billion years, hopefully we'll be living in a star trek era and we'll have nice floating ships to live on

Not the end of wolrd, the end of the world millenium ( 5125 years time cycle) will ending at the 21st December 2012. It's the day winter-sun-turn. After that we will have a new cycle of a new wold millenium. Every 5125 years, reach the earth and our sun system a point through their journey on the all. which marks the end of a cycle. With this end will arriving a new wold millenium and it was every time so. About 4-5 of this cycles had people which lived long time ago, made this change already. of the magnetfield of the earth and the clima and another changes, and they were after it still alive. Also we will still be alive after that. And the time will change to the positive site

The people who had last this change lived in the year 3114 before christi. it is something very special that we can be in this change.

I'm glad to make this experience

The year 2012 will not bring the end of the world, a Mayan elder has insisted, despite claims that a Mayan calendar shows that time will "run out" on December 21 of that year.

sensationalism at it's worst,imo.

i read that article too and it's become such an epidemic that mothers and children are becoming increasingly paranoid. the media and entertainment(which somehow is acting like a media outlet suddenly)are really pushing this to the extreme.

and if natural disaster seems to be the influence....um,last i checked this planet has been through quite a number of events such as the ice age and it somehow survived....
