It's looking very lackluster so far. Tilda gets her first miss for me. This is kind of boring. The same goes for Michelle. I know she's a mom and everything, but she used to wear such daring pieces and lately it's been dud after dud with her.

People I'm Liking So Far
Naomie Harris - Gorgeous in yellow.
T-Hiddles!!!! :woot:
Meryl Streep
Ralph Fiennes  (Is it weird I want to shrink him and carry him around in my pocketbook? Loved him in pretty much everything he's ever appeared in)

People I Expected More From (and was let down)
Viola (Kudos for being eco-friendly, but still...)
Tilda Swinton
Jessica Chastain
Michelle Williams (I don't know why, but yeah.)

What In the World...
Shailene Woodley
Christina Richie
Christina Hendricks

Pleasant Surprises
Kristen Wiig

Emilia Fox

Joanne Frogatt

Gemma Chan

Bonnie Wright

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

Gary Oldman and Alexandra Edenborough

Michael Fassbender

Jon Hamm

Viola Davis

Douglas Booth

Jonah Hill

Somebody please, Helena? I checked Wire myself but haven't seen anything either. Dang.

I cant really see anything outstanding....Michelle looks beautiful but I just wish she wore something with a 'wow' factor.

Michelle does look great, but it seems like she's worn something similar before.
There's no wow factor about it.
yup, it reminds me of the Chanel gown she wore few weeks ago.
plus, it's black and white and it seems she's only been wearing these two colours throughout the season.

so far, Tilda's best for me.

^^agreed - everything looks so blahhhh. Bonnie Wright is the only interesting one - but i dont like her look.

For once, Helena does not look like she got dressed drunk. It's still her weird, quirky self, but not ridiculous. Anyway, that side view of Viola's dress makes me like it more. Still, this has been one sorry turnout. Somebody please tell me that Thandie is there...:(

^I was hoping Thandie would be there, but sadly it looks like she isn't. :(

Making for quite the memorable evening, Jean Dujardin was one of the big winners at the Orange British Academy Film Awards 2012 in London, England on Sunday (February 12).

Held at The Royal Opera House, the 39-year-old French actor took home the prize of Best Leading Actor for his stirring performance in "The Artist".

In claiming the honors, Mr Firth beat out fellow nominees Brad Pitt, Gary Oldman, George Clooney and Michael Fassbender.

Meanwhile, Meryl Streep took home top honors in the Best Actress category for her work in "The Iron Lady".

Fellow female nominees in the running for the esteemed accolade included Berenice Bejo, Michelle Williams, Tilda Swinton and Viola Davis.

The ceremony saw was hosted by Stephen Fry while John Hurt received the BAFTA Award For Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema during the ceremony.

^The third sentence makes no since:

I honestly don't know who will win the Oscars at this point. Michelle wins, then Meryl wins, then Viola wins, now Meryl again. And the same goes for the guys.
