It was a really tough year for the hair and make up competitors. So happy for Jean Dujardin.

Did Michelle ever really have a chance to win? I never thought so, but I haven't been following all the critics' awards this year. She won the GG in the Comedy category right, but mainly it's been between Meryl & Viola. The scales are tipping in the former's corner now. Michelle has never really been apart of the equation, IMO. But that's me.

On another note, C'MON BRITS! Gary Oldman, what the heck? He should've had it in the bag. But I can't really hate Dujardin. He's too adorable.

Michelle's been having the most aggressive campaign for the race (in which she seems to be losing), hence she's still in the equation, IMO. I agree that Viola and Meryl seem to be heading it all, but we'll see. IMO, there might be a surprise...^_^ but as you said it, it's just a personal opinion. :flower:

Compared to last year, this year was a complete wasteland in terms of fashion. Last year we had so many amazing outfits (Tilda in Haider Ackermann, Gemma Arterton in that vintage YSL, Julianne in velvet Tom Ford, Rosamund Pike in McQueen and Emma Stone in Lanvin to name a few).

This year, there were some looks that I really liked:
Christina Ricci in Givenchy
Tilda Swinton in Celine
Michelle Williams in H&M
Meryl Streep in Vivienne Westwood

Jessica Chastain also looked nice in Oscar de la Renta and I'm kind of liking Octavia Spencer's ensemble.

Also, why is the seating always so strange at the BAFTAs? Tilda had such an awful seat.

Meryl Streep is the clear winner for me. Just amazing.

I agree fully that this years carpet was a MAJOR let down. Where were all the movie stars. I know people can't go every year but this was embarrassing.

Michelle and Jessica looked lovely as well.

Tilda Swinton and Octavia Spencer were my best dressed women.

For the men, Brad Pitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Eddie Redmayne, and Michael Fassbender.

PERFECT -

I agree, compared to the last year, the outfits were so bland. The only person I really liked was Tilda.

Meryl was my favourite! She's an empress!!
I also liked Tilda Swinton, Christina Ricci, Jessica Chastain and Helena BC.
I hated Bérenice Bejo.

Anyone has HQs of Shailene Woodley? I can´t find any in the usual sites :(
