I've gotten a 20's a 30's feel when watching some collections

I've seen a little bit of the siluette, with focus on the hips and the hips being thin and straight (boyish), in some of the FW07 shows

Here are some (all elle.com and style.com)

first one is Isabel Marant
second is Julien Macdonald
Third is Marc by Marc Jacobs
4 to 8 are Michael Kors
Last one is Sari Gueron

yeah i agree there is a strong 20s-30s vibes , with low slung dresses, huge wide slouchy pants on major catwalks(marc jacobs, herrera, klein, fendi, gucci, valentino, louis vuitton, cavalli, mcqueen) and even 20s -30s depression bangs we saw at YSL ( also his use of art deco and egyptian references).

I'm lusting over that Sari Gueron outfit...

There have been quite a few recurring 20s/30s themes over the last several seasons. I like the look; it's flattering.

Love the 20's/30's...
And... Marc Jacobs would you marry me?

love love love flapperesque looks hard to find affordable clothing to duplicate it though so i incorporate it with my accessories mainly shoes, jewelry, and hair accessories

I love the flapper look. I'm a bit biased, though, as I've been fascinated with the time period and its fashions for quite some time now. I even have an authentic dress from the 1920's that was worn by a flapper... it's gorgeous!

I love the hats and the hair styles as well. I definitely see the 20's - 30's influences!

Errrm ... If I recall correctly ... the 20's look was different from the 30's one ... wasnt it?

I demand more art deco and nouveau in design. But with that kind of craftsmanship comes the hefty price tag.

well i think with fashion generally the mid to late end of a decade and the early part of the next decade blend together until the next decades style takes hold and i think although key trends changed from the 20s to the 30s they both shared the same mood artistically and socially

There were definately some good styles to be grabbed from in the 20's and 30's, and there were some interesting freedoms that women celebrated during that period that have taken until more recently for them to re-emerge. It's kind-of cool to see.

I think this has been around for a couple years now. I like the 20's and 30's, but in some cases I'm starting to feel it has been done too many times. But still, I love it!

Loving this! I've always wanted this look to come back in a big way. But unfortunately I don't have the body for it  yet if you look back on the 20's and 30's women's figures were sort of short and dumpy and really looked nothing like the fashion plates

yep the 20's are definately coming in
