Jennifer Garner looks so adorable. I don't think she is 'pretty' or hot or anything, but she can look really classy at these sorts of events. She has this innocent charm about her.

Nicole's dress is stunning. Very gorgeous simple front with peacock feather detail with a stunning back and a double take gorgeous color. Unexpected for her. I like.

Emmy looks like she is positively glowing . Purple, don't tell me that about the Opera, I haven't seen it yet. Now I am extremely apprehensive .

Charlize looks great though I have to get use to her darker hair. A little too stark for my liking. Love the color. Very rich, absolutely divine.

Mischa's dress is also beautiful though it just seems to hang off her

I don't like Kidman's dress...or should I say I don't like her style. Red hair would look sooo much better with that dress, which also looked Prada( or Dior or Gucci) with the peacock feather. Her face and hair just disappear under the dress. The dress wore her when it should be the other way around. Charlize looked fresh but the color choice is a bit harsh with her hair and skin tone. Uma looked very soft and pretty while Cate looked grandma with her Gaultier number. Emmy is nice while the others just plain suck.

Trust me, Kidman's dress is Gucci. She said so herself on a pre-show. It also mentions it here and here.

Finally! Nicole Kidman in a color that doesn't make her look dead! She looks lovely in teal/blue! Now all she has to do is dye her hair Practical Magic red and she will be perfect.

I don't usually like Jennifer Garner on the red carpet, something to do with her boy-like body, but this time she looks amazing! Red really suits her.

Kate Hudson, Mischa, Charlize , Emmy and Claire Danes all look great.

I had such great hopes for Natalie but her dress was just so-so. Didn't do anything for her.

Scarlett is beautiful but that dress looks like a badly fitted prom concoction. Perhaps would be nicer on someone taller and thinner. I wish she would go with a fresh faced summery look more often, she's so gorgeous like that.

Renee Zellweger - Man can you say 'boring'? That dress looks like the exact red Carolina Herrerra she wore before.

Cate Blanchett - She's gorgeous, that dress is just so classy, so ETHEREAL. I love it.

Nicole Kidman - Surprising dress choice, but I like it. I don't think she ever wore that color before.
