Yup! I agree.

Just an excuse to watch beautiful people. The previews look pretty good, so I'll tune it and see how it turns out!

Yeah I'll watch it but I don't know how good the depiction of the modeling world will be. The simple fact that it's out west makes me think Hollywood. No offense to models in Cali but I don't take that whole scene as serious as I would if it was in New York or London. Imo, if they want to give people a taste of how it really is they should make a show about (non famous) models in New York and follow them up through Fashion Week. But the point isn't to depict models in a realistic light..it's like you said..another Laguna Beach out of high school. Was it just me or did it seem a bit scripted?? A young pretty model from Kansas being put into a house with a bunch of snotty girls waiting to see her fail ..idk we'll see

I watched it last night...pretty boring, except I think Britt is gorgeous and seems really nice..I'll keep watching :p

i think some guys are hot!!!.... and the photoshoots look really good..! anyone knows where to find picss????

These models a a bit too South Beach (maybe because it takes place there? :P) for me...all sex appeal, no real high fashion.

i watched it..i don't think it's interesting enough to stay on for very long but I like anyhting with models. I think the girls seem really bitchy and fake..but I'm really suprised the one twin with the bad skin was signed..her skin is horrible.

thankss vintage mischa!!!!

and i totally agree with you khaotic kharma... no high fashion at all....

Well, would high fashion models really want to be associated with MTV? These girls may become more well-known, but just like ANTM, it's a reality show... and reality shows are cursed.

But anyways... I thought Britt was adorable and so sweet. It's gonna be really sad watching as her innocence is destroyed on camera. Kelly is a b-i-t-c-h, especially to her twin sister. She's like the evil twin. I wish Sabrina would just take her down. Her face is prettier, she just needs confidence.

All in all, I'll keep watching because I love South Beach and reality tv sucks me in.

I kind of like the bitchy twin - she has more of what it takes, determination-wise.

None of the are going to be high fashion-though...

I don't think the girls wants high-fashion either, looks like they're out to earn big bucks and fame than going to be in Vogue spread (although looks like Kelly, won't turn it down in a sec). I like Vinci, he looks hot, an a Gay way! yummy! I want to see more of his Diva behaviour.

Awww... I'm so sad. The Overdrive Videos are for Windows only and I have a Mac.. :( This is horrible.

this show is such a joke.

half those girls need diets. but i guess thats the south beach look.. ^_^
and the peak of their castings, may be a teen vogue 'biography/about me' and thats, AFTER the show airs. meh.

I loved how the agent was talking about which countires the girls will be going to...As if they would even fit sample sizes.

edit: did anyone else notice the magazines they were shooting for?...their local magazine. Thats like, a wal-mart spread in your local city. Or should i say catalogs. Not that their looks arent essential, clearly they are...I mean, where else does pottery barn get their models? or Delias.

^Welcome to tFs chicgarcon (cool name). You might want to keep the weight talk to a minimum though- too much is a pretty high offense!

Irene Marie is actually a very good agency if you are into that type of modeling (which, in all honesty, brings in much more cash than the life of a starving high fashion model). And they have people getting offers from Ocean Drive, which is a pretty big/cool magazine.

OceanDrive is like Las Vegas, Gotham, Angelenos magazines.

I guess you read Teen Vogue then... I would have to disagree about your Delias comment. Many models in that catalog are pretty big now, like Cintia Dicker, Ilze Bajare, Miranda Kerr, Elyse Taylor, etc. All who I have just named are high fashion models who have been in some pretty big magazines and big name fashion shows. Btw, Britt is in the Buckle BKE denim ads, but I am not sure if it is because of the show or not.
