A.F. Vandevorst F/W 07.08 Paris

^i hope so too...
but I'm not holding my breath. Jeffrey always manages to buy the most conservative, boring pieces of every collection. I wonder why they even bother....

That's great news about monamoore though, thanks for the tip! :woot:

I adore that red dress. Apparently it is slashed across the back, so the white bra peaks through. "Trashy but beautiful," my friend called it.

^i've always wondered if that one was better in their stock than the one in Atl,and thus far everybody seems to concur with you. and it's generally what irritates me about american boutiques(witha couple exceptions, that is) because they do tend to focus on the safest items from the quirkier foreign talents. i say,the best place to get anything from any belgian is to just go to antwerpen itself! the main shop for these guys,Louis, never just picks and chooses an archetype, usually quite a nice melange of different types of pieces....from the most simple to the most experimental.

btw,i completely agree with you laika about their shoes. i really think they as well as ann d. do the best designed footwear of anybody.

I don't know anything about this designer but I have to say that the collection is amazing.

^well,it's two actually. a husband and wife. an vandevorst and filip arickx...

A(arickx)F(filip) Vandevorst....just thought i'd share that as that's what the label stands for.. ;)
