Nice to get an idea of the actual size of them... I'm glad he has all those thirty-one people working for him so he has time to do all this amazing arty stuff also
I must have this issue....the cover is so thoughtful and definitely well-composed because it leads one into an almost story-book-like issue. So much texture and vision is in this. I so want to be part of his oddly macabre, romantic and fantastical world!
I have to say that I agree with you Space. Although they have been good they haven't been as extraordinary as the former title. This looks like it's the best issue thus far.
Actually,I find that it's just easier to order on-line. Not only because it's more convenient but at least you'll know you'll get it and not have to worry about the shops having it or selling out of them. Sometimes, these more obscure titles often get ordered in very small quantities...I mean, three or four issues at the most.
just picked this up in NYC. it was 26 us dollars but well worth it. skip buying 5 magazines, this is all you need.
can't say enough good things about this. my favorite part is the spread of his studio as well as the scans from his sketch book. such an interesting look into his world.
i noticed from the masthead that this magazine is a product of the academy in antwerp- what is it about this place? i dream to visit soon.
