Would Threeasfour really be considered a major show? I'd have thought Marc Jacobs or Tommy Hilfiger for Jourdan. Also, I'd have thought BCBG would be Jac's first major show even if it's not one of the most distinguished brands.

I would love to see both the very first show and the first 'big' show for each model (if they're different shows). Love this thread all around though.

Rag & Bone is a major show to be cast in (it's cast by Ashley Brokaw). But I think this thread is only going for major designers.. so IDK...

I think it depends what model-watching 'crowd' you're in as to when you first notice a model - some with give value to shows based on the casting director, or the quality of the rest of the cast, or others only notice a model if she walks for a household name designer. And sometimes either of the three, depending on what type of show was walked first. That's why this thread might turn out to be subjective.

I might even consider Jac's first major show to be Hugo by Bruno Pieters 08.09 Berlin. I'm not sure did the casting, but she opened and closed the show with some other flow-in models (cast list) - who were bigger at the time than they are now. It was pretty good for her first ever runway show. But it was in Berlin so that probably cancels it out.

I'm probably more interested in seeing a model's first show in NY/London/Milan/Paris, because a) it's less ambigious b) i'm a fan of beginnings, and when there are so many 'disposable' models it's always good, on that rare occassion, when you see that an A-list model, started her career by walking in smaller shows.

ETA: MyNameIs, that's what I think should be posted as well. Or if not, then a different thread for first ever shows.

Yes, I think we should consider not the first show ever done, but the first big show in the main fashion capitals (NY, London, Milan & Paris)..that's what I think..a solution could be posting the first big show and mark if it's even a debut or if that model had her small-shows moment before..
