Anne Chapelle is the owner and CEO of Ann Demeulemeester and Haider Ackermann and this is her new capsule concept line. seasons are deemed "moments" and each moment will reflect something distinctly different.

Future capsules will include: ..a moment in desire...lingerie, ...a moment in touch...jersey, ..a moment in pride...shoes, a moment in joy..accessories and a moment in care...care products. No egos, no designer names just products. The price points are similar to the designer labels. The knits are all hand made.

it's really nice to see a CEO who is actually good at something besides mongering profit. she's a diamond in the ruff,anne chapelle.

it's not at all mentioned that anne chapelle designed this herself, in fact, in one of the interviews from diane pernet's website, the spokesperson mentioned that it's a team behind this collection, with anne chapelle being the 'creative director', as in other big houses (givenchy, gucci, jil sander...).

that being said, i really don't see what exactly she's adding to what is already existing in other designer's commercial (=showroom) collections. there's no doubting that some pieces are nice and wearable, but they could be at home in almost anyone's collection i find.

well this is anne's idea and as posted in diane's blog,this isn't the whole of the label's premise since they will move on to another form of design like shoes...like lingerie. of course it isn't an entirely original idea seeing as the bless girls have done this for much of their career till recently but with a different approach.
