acne jeans

haha well it's probably the only thing that's cheaper in a'dam !
i think it's because acne is swedish, so is nudie, and nudie's are much more expensive in say the us and asia while normally everthing is 10x cheaper there

my girlfriend has a pair of the hex's -- i think theyre amazing.
as long as the cut is nice, the price is decent and they keep it simple i don't much understand how a jean can get 'over-done' or 'played-out.'
like faust noted...theres not much point in looking for innovation/originality points when its comes to jeans.
just keep the cut nice and avoid dumb decorations.

Acne jeans seem to be the most overpriced abroad company!!

Here in Paris, a pair of unwashed starts at 160 euros, all the way to 200 for distressed. I was shocked when i went to visit my gf in stockholm, as they were only around the 100 euro line over there! I ended up buying 3 pairs lol..

Today i kind of regret that though, since i have discovered Dior H jeans. They are truly the perfect skinny jean. Acne's are nice looking but as another guy mentioned, there is so little room in the front crotch area, its really quite unconfortable compared to DH skinnies. I tried on the Max ones the other day, they are almost like leggings which is kind of cool, but the crotch part was SO tight, my,um, package, was clearly visible  !! It's like they are tailored for women !

So its back to DH only for me, they are real skinny yet so confortable, the tailoring is just truly genius, and of course the distress and stitching top class.

By the way, the hex do look STUNNING on my girl, i'd recommend every girl to try a pair... best skinnies ever..for women !

How much in Hong Kong?

Cheapest i found were HK$1400 and it could go up to HK$39xx  depending on wash and treatment to the jeans..... i just it's just crazy.

14xx & 39xx HKD? I have 6 pairs of Acne Jeans.. if I lived in HK i would be poor as hell..

That is insane.. they barely cost what is equal to 1000 HKD here in Scandinavia...

Talking about huge markup

veronica you seem to be always against everything.. i wonder what kind of walmart clothes you wear...

anyway, i think acnes are really good jeans! they are good quality and the fit is excellent. my boyfriend has a pair of the hex girl ones and he looks gorgeous in them. acne hex also flatters my butt.. ;)

who cares if the name is acne? i mean the tag is nowadays rather non-visible and you can always put a belt on if it bothers you..jeez people are weird making this name thing a problem. haha

i suggest buying acne.. but yeah in finland they are about 100-120 euros, whereas in sweden you can get them around 100 euros. i also like the clothing this brand makes. very cute and simple cuts..

^ yeah i agree,

the womenswear is very interesting.. however i haven't seen a lot of people wearing it yet... :(

the menswear on the other hand, is kinda horrible... only some of the jackets and very few of the jerseys are nice...

In france the cost 180 to 280 euro ... i love them!

^omg I cant belive that it is such a big difference in price! Anyway I think Acne makes very nice jeans with a good fit.

im here in california right now and they sell them here for $300-350. I cant believe it! in finland max price is like I said 120 and even that feels kinda expensive compaired to sweden..who the hell would pay 300 bucks?

I got my Hex in black cotton for 150 euros, and even though I get compliments every time I wear them, I won't buy a second pair. Love the skinny legs, but hate the high waist. My Acne boots, now that's a different story. A cross btw western and biker look, black, rugged, very tall (knee length) and very well made. Expensive though (400 euros), but they will probably (hopefully!) last a couple of years.

If you don´t like the high waiste you can try Acne Max. Slim with a pretty low waist if I think.

does the fit intentionally vary within each style for different washes?
like for example when i look at the website the womens HEX style seems to vary in terms or how much it tappers at the bottom, length, waiste height a bit on the DC's compared to the PUREs.
maybe its just the size/model...or im seeing things.
or maybe thats a common practice.

anybody know?

Men's "Max" styles.. (which is equivalent to the women's Hex) does not vary at all... only in terms of length... however I don't know about Hex...
