acne jeans

i agree.. however, with the black canvas jeans if you want them to stay black dont wash them in normal wash or dont wash them at all. my bf had to buy two pairs of acne hex cash cause he messed up the first ones by washing them... they became grey and lost the shine...now he has another pair which he will take to drycleaners only...

good to know, because I have exactly the same jeans, hex cash. I have worn mine for half a year now without washing and they faded really nicely, I was unsure though if I should wash them normally or bring them to the dry cleaning... is it just important on the first wash or do you always have to dryclean them to preserve the original treatment?

i believe if you wanna keep the shiny coating on it you should always dryclean. i know it sucks because at least in finland drycleaning is expensive. in usa its fairly cheap..

maybe you can try to wash in extremely cold water at home but i think they will still bleed...i dont know how to avoid kneebags when you cant exactly wash them in normal wash...so i really suggest drycleaning for you. never put them in washing machine unless you want them to be grey...

i hope this was helpful :)

Thanks so much for your suggestions, I guess it won't hurt much if I bring them to the drycleaners like, twice or three times a year. I usually hang them out on the balcony after extensive wear and it's been fine like this, really. The "wash" turned out really nicely as a reward, the jeans keep the black colour in most parts except from the knees and creases in the crotch part. I will definitely want them to stay with that colour overall, though.

Be careful about taking your jeans to the dry cleaners, the chemical washes they use can sometimes change the color in your jeans. I would advise using Woolite Black(I believe it should be available in europe) and soaking them for 10 minutes in cold water. Rinse and let drip dry.

i wash my normal black jeans in the black liquid detergent but the problem with acnes is the coating...that will come off in any water..

they are great!! love the fresh skirt!! they used to be a bit cheapish, boring stretch materials etc. now they're great! how in the name of god can you possibly care that their name is ACNE???! maybe they're trying to be nice. don't by diesel, they're pro destroying our environment. and what's wrong with high waist? you stick to you misssixty, reply g-star with huge zippers details and low waists. or why not Vicky's R&R jeans.. that's nice. that's fashion.

Hot!

Acne is one of the hottest labels I know right now, and their jeans fit me perfectly. And the rest of the clothes I love because of the simplicity; it's clean and basic; not overdone with lots of prints and stuff, like other brands you see. But this is perhaps only because I'm a scandinavian myself? ;P

I'm scandinavian too. What's kind of sad with Acne is that sooo many people wear it! Some of the jeans are really nice indeed but to bad that so many people wear them. But I still like them for their simplicity. :flower:

Yeah I understand you, because you are perhaps swedish? I am from Norway, and here it's not that popular yet. AND what's great; we sell it at the store where I work, so I get a rebuff (if that's the right word..?)!!! But as someone said earlier here, or maybe some other place; the clothes are a bit overpriced..

Yes swedish, and it's very popular here, and has been for a while... :innocent:
About the overprice I can't tell. Here in sweden they cost around the same as the other brands. But i've understand that in foreign countries they can be a lot more expensive!

Yeah Cheap Mondays are nice too i must say. Except for the logo at the back, but it's easy to take away. About simplicity, yes that's a scandinavian thing indeed. :p:huh: Oh, i wish there were so many more brands available in Sweden. This is really off topic but for example APC is only available in one store (!) in Sweden. Maybe that's great because not so many people wear it  :woot: but still...

Me like Cheep Mondays too, but the one pair I bought in Stockholm before Christmas turned out to shrink a LOT more than expected.. So I don't know what to do with them. They are so tight that I don't feel comfortable. Haha.. But they were cheep though :P But Vigge! Don't complain about not having many brands in Sweden. Have you been in Norway??:yuk:

Hehe..... I knew that raw denim shrink, I sell it myself. But these were more than normal i think. To tell customers that they shrink about 5 %, but my cheap mondays shrinked much more i think. But on the other hand.. I should have bought them bigger, yeah. And I don't think they'll stretch back, since the fabric contains 2 % spandex, and then they keep their passform very well.. So.. I think I'm gonna sell them, or give them to a second hand shop or something like that. What kind of cheap mondays do you have? Mine are some kind of blue with an orange seam. :D My mate have some black ones with zippers on the pockets behind, and zippers down at the bottom. they are awsome! CM also have some baggy ones who looks cool too!

The BIN price is still higher than what we pay in Scandinavia :ninja:
