how high do the tube's come on your waist, pucci? I thought the hex's were fairly high waisted, the needle's are going to be very interesting indeed if they are higher than the tube's. but if anyone can get it right, acne can...they really seem to take fit into consideration.

pucci, thanks. are you short waisted or long? I think the lena's are the same rise as the needle's just skinnier in the leg. I went up a size so they wouldn't be skin-tight and I can be assured that I will be able to sit and breathe.

I love Acne jeans - perfect fit for me! I have a very old pair of Hep Almost Pure (which sadly they don't make anymore!), Hep Displays and have just ordered some Hep Matrix - I'm hoping they'll ressemble the Almost Pures. I am thinking of getting the Hep Pure but am concerned that the wash is very bright?

Grill, I almost got the hep displays but thought they looked to charcoal as opposed to a true black. let us know how the matrix work out for you since at some point I will need to replace my fav pair of worn pures. so glad this brand is more accessible these days.

pures arent bright as much as deep blue with subtle faded areas.

^ Hi LuckyMe! The Hep Displays are a recent addition for me and I am not sure if I will be keeping them or exchange them for Hep Pures. I would have liked a more grey or gunmetal wash. The Displays to me are a slightly faded black rather than a grey but they aren't jet black and they do have some subtle fading.

hello ladies.. I have a question. I am short and curvy--5'1, hips and boobs (more scarlett johansson than an olsen twin)...would acne jeans work for me? I am in a constant struggle with finding jeans that fit..

I am not sure that Acne would be the best for someone with hips!?! Though maybe others have different experiences and views. I love Acne as they are the only jeans that fit me great on the waist and hips - I have no hips, and a very petite torso but more normal legs. Typically, jeans most are always too too big for me around the waist and hips and fall down even if they fit on the legs but Acne are great for me! I wonder if perhaps it is because the rise is somewhat higher than other brands?? I always choose the Hep models (Straight legged).

However, some of the other ladies here might have different body shapes and might enjoy wearing Acne too.

thanks grill! I will try some on when I am in Chicago. Finding jeans to fit my curvier body is hard too; I have a small waist, hips and no butt! super frustrating...I love acne jeans stylistically, but have a feeling that they would not fit. alas.

grill, I completely agree, I have a waist that blends right into the hip and the acne jeans fit me the best out of any. Hex drooped down on me but the Hep's are always perfect. I am really curious to see how the Needle's fit, it looks like they will give me a waist...

Hi there! Well I'm afraid I haven't had a positive experience with acnejeans.com. Because of sizing inconsistencies which I noticed with my last online order, I ordered 2 pairs of the same jean in the same size the Hep Matrix. I paid and was charged for 2 pairs but was very concerned to receive only the 1 pair in the mail.

This really disturbed me because there was no packing slip simply the invoice for the 2 pairs with the 1 pair. The Hep Matrix were nice but slightly too tight and more like a Hex model in the lower leg so I sent them back. I liked the dark colour but wasn't too keen on the cross hatching which made the horizontal weave more apparent than the downward thread. However, there was the original problem with having been sent the wrong quantity in the first place. The jeans went back just over a week ago via registered mail and I'm still waiting to hear back from Acne customer service. Almost 400 Euro is quite alot to be out of pocket and with nothing in return.

My advice to you guys is if you can - and I know that this isn't always easy - to try and buy from a store. I bought 2 pairs recently from Printemps - the Hep Displays and the Hep Pure.

i've tried on the hep cuts and found them very tight where i had to size up 2 to just button the things. is it the same thing for the highwaists?

I have the same bodytype, and I am 5´3. I love their Hep jeans.

I'm normally between two sizes and I bought the tube in my bigger size. They are super narrow in the hips.....so if you have any, I would recommend one size up.

I love my tubes so much...can't get out of them, actually.
