I love it.

If you can look past the fact that this person is not classically handsome, it is a solid and somewhat sweet picture. The little grin with dimples, the moody blue color scheme, the fact that this is a nude image that isn't designed to titillate us.

What makes Acne Paper so invigorating is the fact that they keep us on our toes and never give into a stereotypical ideal of what fashion ought to be. It is not just about a model looking perfect on a cover, it is about imagery that is artistic and sometimes challenging. I think this cover is a great example of that and I look forward to picking up my issue.

It's an unexpected cover...

I think it would be better to see it in context with the content of the magazine. But it's certainly worked in that it's made me want to see more of what's in the magazine because I want to know what this picture is a part of!
