I saw they sold out and it didn't occur to me that they would restock! However, I guess they sold out again though. Do you think they will restock again?

Are you familiar with Jonathan+Olivia? They have stores in Vancouver and Toronto. You can see their stock on their blog. They posted the Atacomas last month.

They don't have an online shop yet, but you can order from them by email or phone. I've ordered from them (not the Atacomas) and everything went smoothly.

Thank you so much, I wasn't aware of this, but unfortunately they didn't have my size (European 40). They were extremely quick in replying mt email though, I was impressed.

Yeah, I actually didn't know that store (I lived here for a year only), but I called and they were gonna check if they could place a special order for the spring! They will let me know tomorrow. Only thing is that I would like to get them earlier... But thanks a lot, I will definitely check out their store for other products!

i normally wear a size 7-7.5 and i ordered a 37 and theyre a bit too snug. do you think going up to a 38 will be too big?? i cant decide if i should have them stretched or just go up to a 38. any help would be appreciated, thanks

i am always confused by US sizes as people have different conversions..
i am a 38.5 which i translate to a US 8.5 and i took a 39 which is just right.
to be frank i think 38 should be good for you too

hi m4ry. i am always a us 7-7.5 and i had to get the 38. it fits perfectly. sooo comfortable. get it, you won't regret it and you won't have to get them stretched!

I'm still looking for the black/metal ones in size 40, but mytheresa is getting a grey suede leather version of the atacomas (a limited edition worldwide only 200 pairs) next week for anyone interested! They look really nice, and I think they will only be available in that store.

wow - the grey suede are gorgeous! I'd just be worried about getting them dirty. I prefer them to the metallic version to be honest....

I just hope there's nothing wrong cus they have to different ones:
"Shoes: Atacoma Black Metal" and "Atacoma Black Metal A/W 09" - the last one is sold out, but the first one is not... Hope it works out!

now i am faced with too many decisions, and i do not like that! so i had the 39s that i got as a gift, and just received the 38s that i bought online. the 38s i feel like might be a tad too tight, but i can probably just stick an insole into the 39s and call it a day just as well. what to do?! does anyone know if the 38s stretch out with wear?

I need some advice on what to do as well... My shoes arrived from acneshop, with a duty/taxes fee of $225 (which is more than the double of what I thought it would be)...I didn't accept the package yet, but UPS has scheduled a new delivery tomorrow. Having many friends in Sweden I thought maybe I could ship them back to Acne, and just ask them to ship them to a local address there (I know I should have thought of this before, but I really didn't think the fees would be _that_ high).

However, when I called UPS and asked if it was possible to return the package they told me it would cost me almost $150 to to so. Acne charges $15 to have them shipped overseas, do they cover some of the charges or was they guy I talked to from UPS telling me the wrong info? If we was right, I don't see this as an option. However, I don't want to pay more than $800 for a pair of shoes retailing for so much less... What to do?

it will be worse for you if you try to send them back. customs gets gnarly with complications and returns.

@ingvildel that's terrible! international sellers should really give you an idea of how much those customs fees will be prior to shipping. $150 is less than $225, so i don't know, seems like shipping them back might be better...have you tried contacting acne directly? what is their return policy like?

I know, I really had no idea it would be that much, I mean that's like almost 40%!! I will email them and ask, cus I think it might be cheaper if they accept the return. Right now I just feel a little stupid, but I hope it works out in some way!
