I'm still in doubt about the split toe thing....I your feet aren't too large, and the split isn't too extreme it can be quite cute, otherwise it can tend to the already mentioned goat foot

I like the shoes Purplelucrezia posted although I would not wear them myself

Those ones Strawberry posted are very cute, though I would like them a LOT better with just a plain, round toe. Those don't really look very comfortable.

Maybe I am just biased, because I have really awful feet, and know that my toes would not actually fit in the grooves provided. My toes are so long, and very splayed out. WIDE feet, and a bunion on the right one.

I don't like the canvas high-top Margiela kind. I guess that they are derived fom the tabi-socks worn with tradional japanese geta sandals If you do liek them, however, you can find them in some of the small shops in China Town NYC for less than 10 bucks.

I have a pair of handmade Indian flats that have a slight 'camel toe' but they are slimmer than the others and IMO cuter than the wider ones.
