I like these ones as well...
Those ones Strawberry posted are very cute, though I would like them a LOT better with just a plain, round toe. Those don't really look very comfortable.Originally posted by strawberry daiquiri@Apr 1st, 2004 - 1:11 pm

I wish I'd never heard all the goat comparisons, it's getting harder and harder to see the heart![]()

There was an AMAZING pair of tabi boots on the Office website this summer. Black canvas, knee-high, with a design on the side of the calf reminiscent of Hokusai's "The Great Wave at Kanagawa." They were so wonderful. I wish I had them.![]()

Well these are the shoes that are really hot at the moment in Holland.
They are called tabi shoesor just split toe shoes
The firts ones are from Irregular Choice
The other ones are from Okoloko
And i love them both
What do you think of the split toe shoes and are they also popular in your country/city?

I don't like the canvas high-top Margiela kind. I guess that they are derived fom the tabi-socks worn with tradional japanese geta sandalsIf you do liek them, however, you can find them in some of the small shops in China Town NYC for less than 10 bucks.
I have a pair of handmade Indian flats that have a slight 'camel toe'but they are slimmer than the others and IMO cuter than the wider ones.
