What is the quality of Acne shoes like? I'm just trying to figure out whether the price and quality are directly proportional.

are they running big? or normal?
i wear a uk6, us8 and eu39.. what size should i buy??

i think they are true to size. i am us7.5 and eu38 and i wear the pistols in 38.

i have 3 pairs of acne shoes and i think the quality is excellent. the shoes are very sturdy and well made. they are made in italy

i am eu38-39. it changes with every pair of shoes. yesterday i tried on a eu37, and it was a little bit to small. so i think i will get a eu38..

I really like them, have your boots become softer with time though? Mine are quite hard!!

My friend has those, I love them as well.

They do get a bit softer, not annoyingly soft though so it still keeps its original shape. I like them more now than when I bought them, the color and everything looks so much better.

Really?? Yeah, i can't wait for them to age! They're so comfortable, and well made. I can actually fathom the thought of wearing them everyday- summer and winter!!

I was thinking about getting the (short) Pistol boots but when I tried them in store, I felt they overwhelmed my frame (as I'm petite). Does anyone else have this problem?

^My short Pistols arrived today, and I'm a little bit on the fence with them too, because I have such tiny feet I feel they look massive on me. I do like them otherwise, it's just that they look really big compared to my other shoes. When I first opened the package I actually thought they'd sent me the wrong size...!

I had a pair of lookalikes that were shorter, but their quality was really horrible. They just pale in comparison with the real thing!

^Yes, that's what I'm on the fence about too. I know the Acne boots will be much better quality than any lookalikes but I'm not sure I like the shoes on me even though I like the style itself a lot.

I recently bought a pair of Acne track boots after stalking the shoes on the Acne website for months. Now they're appearing on every other website! Can someone make me feel better for paying full price for them? I might get upset if I see them on sale....haha

yeah I have them in black too! Im debating buying the smog ones as well since they are on sale on several sites. they are some of the most comfortable boots i have!
