Adidas - The All-Things 'Adidas Sneakers/Trainers' Thread

The sizing should be ok, I used to own a pair a few years ago. I know they also come in black.

Well, I tried on a few pairs today... black with pink stripes, white with hot pink hologram stripes, white with light pink hologram stripes, and white with silver hologram stripes. The sizing was really weird for the black ones, though...because they were for boys and went up to a size 6 (8 womens). Good thing I tried on the ladies pairs, because they felt so much better! Anyhow, I ended up buying the white with silver hologram stripes, I figured they would match more things...

Now, I have to figure out how/what to wear them with. How do you guys wear white sneakers.....with anything, basically? I keep thinking white shoes have to match white pants, white shorts, that's it. Are they ok to wear with like, black shorts and a colored top? Should I treat them like black shoes and wear them with anything? I have never worn white shoes before... have always worn black sneakers all my life and wanted to try something different. Thanks for the advice!

^ I used to own the white pair with silver stripes too. I think its the most versatile color to be honest because they are the most classic. I dont wear any sneakers nowadays but I used to wear them with jeans.

I thought that's what I'd probably wear them the most with, jeans. I bought a style called "Superstar Geometric", so the stripes look holographic. I guess that gives it a little "bling".

Adidas superstar 35th run dmc spotting fakes ?

Hiya guys ive been trying to track down a pair of adidas superstar run dmc shoes but im a bit weary on if im buying an authentic shoe or not ? does anyone know of a way to tell. as there were only 5000 released.
From pictures ive seen it seems some have "made in indonesia" under the tounge bit of the shoe and some do not.

Any help would be great.

i tell you with the uber-cool designs by dirk schonberger for slvr(who coincidentally is belgian-trained) and all the collabs they've been doing adidas really seems to have picked up some cool factor in recent years. i quite like the black & burgundy pair with the blue reflectors and the fuller sole.

Holy mackerel these are fugly. The shoes themselves are already unappealing but all those crazy color combos truly make these repulsive.

Same here. His clothes are breathtaking and I only purchase his rtw pieces, but his shoes I just can't get into. They're just....bleh. lol.
Now, his womenswear shoes are a totally different story.

anyone a fans? i wasn't too crazy with the wings version back then when they first came out, but lately i've been in love with some of the collection

i just got this and totally in love!!!!
it's very comfortable and very light and the tongue is very thick and bulky in a nice way, i wore this to a concert and it is definitely gonna be my fave shoes for some time when i'll be standing or walking for hours

Adidas Stan Smith is a tennis shoe made by Adidas. However, nowadays, the shoe is not used for tennis, but as sneakers.

so i'm opening this thread, because i'm thinking of buying a pair (i plan to wear them with my camel coat and Y's baggy pants this winter, i dont why i feel this look is incomplete without these sneakers - i have an old editorial by david sims, in mind - published in Glamour France in 1993) ...

but i would like some advices to make them look "old" and "used" ...
i think stan smith are like converse (and boat shoes, and so many other shoes they look the best when USED !
When I was young I had a pair in black, and they never really aged (but when i was a teenager i thought the color black was a mistake for these, so barely wore them...)

here is Phoebe Philo wearing them ... but there must be TONS of other people wearing them in streetstyle blogs (but I havent looked to a streetstyle blog in ... AGES).

Even though I don't think ONE thread would be a good solution... There should be something you should do, non ? Like one thread for Adidas in general and its special edition, one for Jeremy Scott edition, Y3 sneakers etc.

Oh god how I loathe them and want to set them on fire next to the ever so tacky New Balances (at least they're going away on their own now- naturally, as every fashion victim item will) and add most Nikes to the flames too, especially if they're black and white.

I loved them for a while but their comeback has been a bit of a nightmare and seriously why not get some matchplays instead while at it? they're just a simple but less annoying..
