god these topics seem to go no where and how many are there really?
she's skinny can you really tell if she getting skinnier? doubtful. it's like accepting that someone is fat, just accept that she's skinny, that she'll never do victoria's secret and that hana has skinny legs. if there was something really wrong with them i'm sure their support net is aware enough to notice it.

Good point Wyatt! If you don't want to look at her picture or get sick by looking at her picture - don't look, better yet...don't pull up the thread. She has been very skinny for quite a few seasons now....so this is nothing new.

She has piercing eyes and such a fierce look! I can see why she is so successful! :flower:

I think people constantly point out excessive thinness and express their disgust and ridicule it , so as to try and make it seem less desirable. In the fashion world especially, emaciation and extreme underweight bodies seem to be praised, glamourized and idealized so it is actually important people actually voice their dislike for these kinds of bodies, hopefully one day the fashion world will wake up and realize that, yes, it is unrealistic to think that models are going to be all shapes like women in the real world, but that these extreme and painfully thin models are just not nice to look at and shouldnt be encouraged. Until then, I can only hope people will keep bringing up these topics and expressing their opinions. :boxer:

Her being skinny for a while though doesn't make it any better though. And I can't stand the argument of if you don't like it, don't look. That's what people do in hit and runs, or the passerby that turn their heads while some kid's getting pounded to death. These girls are slowly dying here, just as surely as if they were being murdered. I hate to sound so shallow too, but the very fact they're so beautiful only makes it more painful for me. I'm messed up, but I love beauty, whether it be in people, or nature, or whatever else. I cannot bear to simply look away as these girls starve themselves to death.
Adina's not the only one either, look at Hana. Yes, she has a pretty face, but she is also clearly suffering from malnutrition. Don't anyone use the argument of models being skinny because it's more attractive either. I personally admire a thinner, more lithe physic, and often get in trouble for that viewpoint, but at the same time I don't want to see these people miserable. Skinny is one thing- skeletal's quite another matter.
Finally, this is an important topic and it deserves having multiple threads about it.

:yuk: At least someone else feels the same way.

For me, its not just her body, its her face. To me, she just ruins every outfit she models.

im glad too, i feel like im the only one who realizes how wrong it is to encourage this ideal.

It's wierd, mabye I've just never noticed it before, most of the pics I've seen of her aren't like, skeletal looking, but then some of the pics posted here are. I really hope she looks better for the couture shows in Jan....I really like her, it'd suck if she gets too thin.

isnt she STUNNING though? Just her face makes you take a second glance, amazing looking, better if she weighed a good 10 pounds more. but i still think shes gorgeous.

Some people DO have fast metabolisms. Not saying that every model might not have an eating disorder, but not all of them do! And the whole skinny isn't about women relating to the rail figures, it's simply about the clothes. Emphasis on the clothes, not the models.

Fast metabolism does not lead to a skeletal body.
