AF Vandevorst S/S 2015 Paris

^I think the wheat stalks in the hair is a part of the story that the war plane crashed on a tropical island (i have that story in my mind because i see the pilot jumpsuits, the army green with a touch of jungle leaves).

Coincidently Yohji Yamamoto's collection gave me the same feeling. I feel like there were two troops with two different style on the plane.

maybe a plane crash- but those are not tropical plants by any stretch of the imagination...
they look more like rice or wheat stalks...
looks like somewhere in asia to me...

:innocent:...

the feather print and the actual feathers combined with the jumpsuits and windswept looks all give the impression of flight...
i agree with that completely...
very good observation!

One of my favourite collections of PFW. There's a romantic Brontë-esque quality to the collection. I saw the opening piece - with the smoky haze - and immediately thought, 'Wurthering Heights'.

I have been waiting so long for the video! Thank you so much for posting! :flower:

Am I the only one who thinks that so much of their style would translate well into some fantastic menswear? Or am I totally off the mark again?

I think this is easily the standout collection of Spring 2015. It's the only one I keep looking at repeatedly.
