Agyness Deyn

Burberry didn't ditched Agy, she said no no to advertisement this season

I don't think my reaction was over the top, especially after the news she wanted to start up a band.
Exactly :flower: But it was the NME who reported the band news, and we all know they get over-excited about things :innocent:

Maybe because they went from group shots to an only-girl campaign? Along with Aggy they "ditched" Lily D. and everyone else that was in them last season. :p

^ lol! Well, maybe I'm just a super serious kinda gal! :ninja::p

Naah, I was just unsure.
I don't think my reaction was over the top, especially after the news she wanted to start up a band.
We don't actually know what's going on in Agy's head and we've seen so many cringey actresses\models turning into " musicians" situations that my stomach automatically turned! Lol!

I hope that she sticks to that statement though and wasn't just making it to cover her ***.

Her modeling, for me anyway, is 1000 times more important than some " just for fun" album. That was really the only thing I was worried about, so I hope she really does keep it as the focus of her career.

fact is...at least thats where i was coming from i cant speak for u Stam, its not the fact that shes singing or doing this and that or whatever...its because WHY she does it...overexposure...
but i made my point...people get it or they dont...i personally dont care...

^ No, I get you Fairy.

Fact of life: in the sun or in the limelight, overexposure is never good for your face! Lol!

can someone point me in the direction of her interview with Jonathan Ross?

heres the story
'Over-exposed' Agyness dropped

Agyness Deyn is too 'over-exposed', say sources

The reason why Agyness Deyn was dropped as the face of Burberry can now be revealed.
An insider at the fashion house told me that celebrity snapper Mario Testino – described as the company's advertising visionary – is fed up with the hype surrounding the elfin model who aimed to topple Kate Moss as the queen of British fashion.
Asked why Agy had been dropped less than a year after pinching the role from her rival, the checked-cap mole told me: 'She was just a flash in the pan. Last year she was quirky but now she is challenging Moss in the fame stakes by positioning herself everywhere. That kind of popularity just hasn't sat well with Mario, who is looking for something different'.

Deyn, real name Laura Hollins, has long played the fame game.
She is a regular on the celebrity circuit and has made several high-profile showbiz appearances, including presenting a prize at the NME music awards and collecting the model of the year gong at the Elle style awards.
She has also just made a pop music video.
But the 26-year-old's attempts to eclipse Moss in the popularity stakes seem to have backfired – as well as losing the Burberry contract she also failed to make a list of the top ten richest models, in which Moss came third.
To make matters worse, it seems Testino is not just looking for a new face – he wants a younger one, too.
The snapper – famed for his photos of Princess Diana – is thought to want to replace Deyn with 21-year-old Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The Devon beauty, a D&G underwear model, has reportedly already been booked to front Burberry's autumn campaign.

Oh Oh, Agy is in trouble  But I highly doubt this is true, Cristopher Bailer likes her -_-

^ Did Fairy write that article? Lol! Cause, babe, you freaking could have! Lol!

i guess they did some research and used me as a source...they better send me some good money  j/k

and yes Christopher Bailey likes her...but Christopher Bailey likes every 'it-girl' and 'topmodel' of the moment cos thats his job, hes a designer...

Either way, I still don't believe this gossip cause it's from metro, jyeah, reliable source

as much as i love her as a model, i kinda hope its true...it would bring her back to earth a bit

She is over-exposed, but I don't think there's much truth to that article. I doubt Mario Testino has that much influence at Burberry...
