IT'S the hottest wedding of the year - our columnist Alex Curran is marrying Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard tomorrow.
Her dress will be worth thousands, but here she models wedding gowns from the high street to show you don't have to spend a fortune to look great..
1 BOOK IN FOR A FACIAL There's no better way of making sure you look revitalised and fresh-faced when you walk down the aisle. And, it's your day so why not treat yourself to a bit of pampering. Just before my wedding I'm having a Crystal Clear facial. I'm completely hooked on them. For more details visit

2 LOOK AFTER YOUR HANDS You don't want your hands and nails to look manky when your fiance puts that ring on your finger. And if, like me, you have little ones to look after, you need a manicure that lasts longer than two minutes. So I'm treating myself to Nails Inc's everlasting polish treatment, which promises to stay on for up to four weeks. It costs £45 but it's worth it to have lovely nails for days.
3 CUT OUT THE JUNK I've been leaving out all the rubbish from my diet and sticking to three healthy meals a day to keep myself in shape for the wedding. I'm also trying not to eat anything after 7pm, so my body has time to work off the calories before bed.
4 HEAD TO YOUR LOCAL POOL Being a mum I find it hard to fit in exercise. Instead, I swim with Lilly in our indoor pool twice a week. We have loads of fun splashing around, so it doesn't feel like I'm working too hard. Since I've been swimming, I've noticed my arms and legs are more toned, and it's helped firm up my tummy muscles.
5 BANISH TIRED EYES I've been so busy planning for the wedding and fretting over arrangements, I've noticed my eyes looking tired. So I've been using the new products from MeMeMe at Superdrug. The range includes Cool & Calm to combat dark circles, Beat The Blues, an amazing skin illuminator, and The Concealer Duo, which will banish any blemishes.
6 TOP UP YOUR TAN A fake tan always makes you look slimmer and healthier. I'm a fan of California Tan, the same one used by Jennifer Aniston. But you can also do it at home. It's £30 from Superdrug but worth every penny.
7 SLEEP There's no better beauty tip than getting a good eight hours before the day. I haven't had any big nights out for a while to make sure I look my best.
