Q WHAT are the tattoos on your right arm. Are they new?
A ONE of them is some Tibetan Buddhist script. And the two hearts have E and R in them.
Q IS that a girlfriend?
A NO, it's Queen Elizabeth. Elizabeth Royal. I'm 18 now and go travelling all over the world so I wanted something to remind me that I'm British.

Q SO have things changed a lot for you since you played Alex Ryder in Stormbreaker?
A STORMBREAKER was a fantastic experience. It gave me a name and a bit of an edge on my game. But it should have been more character driven and, to be honest, I think I was a little weak in it.

Q FREDDIE in Wild Child is your first romantic lead role. Were you nervous about it - and your first real screen kiss?
A WHO could help but fall in love with me? I don't know what to say. This is like an English Mean Girls and I just try to do my best to look hunky, even though I'm a skinny English guy. Working with a bunch of girls was very hard. I was really happy to be a part of it because I hadn't done anything like it before. I was supposed to be in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging as the love interest, but I turned it down.

Q WHAT was Emma Roberts like, especially as she's the niece of Julia?
A EVERYONE goes on about her aunt but she's terrific in her own right and is going to be a star. She carries charisma like it's a handbag.

Q WHAT'S next?
A I'M about to make a movie called Tormented, with Larissa Wilson and April Pearson from Skins. It's about a bullied teenager who comes back from the dead and gets his revenge. There's chainsaws and digging up graves in it. I'm the bad guy. Then I'm off to LA. It's a big move.

A I'M young and I've got to spread my wings. But don't worry, I'll be back. I'll bring you my laundry.

Alex Pettyfer: 'Emma Roberts and I were an item'

Actor Alex Pettyfer has admitted he enjoyed a fling with Julia Roberts' actress niece Emma Roberts on the set of their latest film Wild Child.

Pettyfer, 18, played Roberts' love interest in the teen film, and the young hunk has confessed to sharing more than just on-screen kisses .

And although the pair is no longer together, the actor insists they are still on good terms.

He tells Evening Standard magazine, "I don't know how to say it. She's a lovely, lovely girl. We had a spell of something that is over now, but we're on good terms.

"She's beautiful, she's great; we're really good friends."

The relationship meant so much to Pettyfer, he had Roberts' initials tattooed on the inside of his wrist.

When prompted about the inking, the smitten star explained: "I'm going to get asked about this, aren't I? I though it was just between me and her."

he is soooo gorgeous. he was at some polo match at windsor last year, he wasnt all that tall and very small-boned!!! but HOT!!! wasnt he in Tom Browns Schooldays when he was younger too? He has good fashion sense aswell, hes currently doing burberry's campaigns.

Yeah. My friend, Tom, met Alex once cos his Dad was part of the film he did, 'Tom Brown's Schooldays'. Sadly, he said he wasn't all that nice. Being rude, even at that young age, is unfortunate.

I think he was in the Burberry campaigns w/Agyness Deyn.....but i'm not sure...i recently saw the film Alex Riderperation Storm (..kinda sucked..but he's pretty) and i thought he looked very familiar..If i remember correctly...he was in the Spring/Summer 2008 & 2009 campaign....and i think he was in The Beat ad for Burberry too....
