Alex Pettyfer: I Am Number Four!
Alex Pettyfer has landed the lead in I Am Number Four, a forthcoming adaptation of a sci-fi book by James Frey and Jobie Hughes!
The 19-year-old British actor will play the title character in the story of nine aliens “who have escaped their home planet just before it was annihilated by a rival species,” according to THR.
Alex’s character disguises himself as a normal high-schooler, only to find out that his planet’s enemy is still looking for him!
Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are producing. This is Alex’s first major studio movie!!
Alex and Vanessa Hudgens will be hitting the big screen this summer in Beastly, a modern day retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

Alex seems to have gotten the seal of approval from Dianna’s Glee costars. “He seems like a really nice guy,” Jayma Mays told People. “He’s really cute and she’s beautiful. And he’s nice to look at, so I’m sure all the girls on set will love to have him around.”
