Alexa Chung

How would you like to be remembered?
As someone who inspired women to dress for themselves.

She always sounds so superficial  She is taking this ''style icon '''very seriously isn't she

^ I think you're the one who's taking her answers too seriously. I mean, which girl doesn't want to inspire other people?

I'm actually happy she answered that way. If she'd given a "deep" answer, we would have all thought, 'please Alexa, you're only a style icon...', you know?

She doesn't sound superficial at all. She sounds down-to-earth and lucid of her situation and of how others see her, whether or not she sees herself that way.

Do you think that Emma Hill & Mulberry chose Alexa as the name for that bag with the direct purpose of targeting the Asian market? Given her surname... After all, they've launched the Alexa bag with Alexa personally in Hong Kong, Singapore, and now Korea. Or is it just me who's cynical?

Looking great at the airport anyway. Clashing is Alexa's trademark.

No I don't think so. I do think they used Alexa though to capitalise on her style and popularity worldwide though. 'Western' celebrities become popular in Asia even without links to Asia. So, I don't think it was a direct intention to target the Asian market, but she is popular there for her style - much the same as why Mischa Barton, Nicole Richie, etc in their heyday were often in Asia doing media events for brands.

Plus, Chung is a Chinese name, and she's part Chinese. If you were right in saying she's popular because of her surname, it wouldn't be the reason why she's popular in Korea (she's been on the cover of Korea Harper's Bazaar for example).

Why would you choose TV presenter as your profession if you are scared of public speaking?

I like this look on Alexa, seems like she made an effort even though she'd probably been trapped on a plane for hours! Also I love her boots, I've got chelsea/cowboys boots just like that and my concern was always that they looked too long in the toe but it totally works on Alexa's outfit!

sometimes i miss the way she used to look when she was younger and her cheeks were a little bit chubbier. does getting your wisdom teeth out get rid of some of the chubbiness in the cheeks?

^ If anything I thought it would add chipmunky-ness :p

she does look better then... more vibrant.
but I suppose she was also 7 years younger then!
