until I see better photos of it, I cant say I'm overly wowed at the moment.

agree with fairy! My granny would like the outfit!! Well, at leats the make up looks gorgeous!

I soon see Alexa turning into Peaches Geldof (Style wise)
- Once considered a style icon. Then a wannabe.

Nevertheless the outfit she wore to the Brits is growing on me. Her bag is cute too. However the cardigan makes the outfit look too grannyish in my opinion, doesn't give the right balance. And as well as that the dress would have looked better if it was worn without tights because of the sleeves on the dress. But it was quite cold- don't blame her!

Oh well, this is the way it always happens, once you notice and embrace that people are checking what you wear and start labeling you as a style icon, you start to lose the natural laid back style instinct. Because you start to wear things for impressing other people, not for your own joy. Especially on the red carpet. I really hope she does not go down that road because that is what makes every other famous girls style the same, like it comes out of a factory. She is the epitome of the chic style for me and to my surprise her pink Luella dress and this jacket at Brits are the two outfits which i could not identify her with at all. So i am really hoping for an excellent outfit of hers next time!

it's disappointing (but only to be expected) that now she has gained further media recognition, she has begun to wear high-end labels.

She used to exude individuality and chic whilst clad in only high street and vintage, which went to serve as my muse that style was achievable in any price range, namely my price range. She could wear Oasis and pull it off as if it were Oscar de la Renta.

However these days, her get-up is Luella, Chanel and other alike left, right and centre, it can't help but make me think that her look is a little too contrived and calculated perhaps.

I couldn't have put it better myself!

The dress wouldn't have looked too bad if it weren't for the sleeves, and the fact she's wearing that cardigan over her shoulders makes it look worse. I regained my faith in Alexa when she wore the navy dress and beige cardigan the other day, but I am really unimpressed with the Brits outfit. Too try-hard. That being said, I love her bag and necklace.
