Alexa Chung

that interview was very bad.
by the way, what are they talking bout mentioning some clip on youtube of her interviewing panic at the disco?

^i've never actually seen that interview but it's mentioned quite often...was it that horrible?

^I'm pretty sure the PATD interview is on youtube somewhere...I thought it was pretty hilarious actually! Its just a classic alexa interview really...

ahhh I see thanks for posting it ^_^ that wasn't offensive at all...a little awkward but uncooperative interviewees will do that

thanks quimby!
i gotta agree with whoever said that she's acting lke a b*tch there.i might add a b*tch with a stick up her ***.I'm not a big fan of emo music, including panic at the disco, but she's acting all snobby and she's supposed to be the indifferent polite host.

Why is she a b*tch? The band seemed completely uninterested and unamused by Alexa. I actually thought she came across just fine. Plus I greatly disapprove of men in flipflops yet in a sweater. You're either hot or cold, pick one.

^that's because he was acting stuck-up like hey,i'm only into cool music like arctic music and other cool brits, and you are just a bunch of whiny americans(and i repeat,i LOVE british music, esp the monkeys btw,and not big on emo),but she was simply disrespectful.
and the fact that someone was wearing flip-flops and sweater has nothing to do with it

Could we pretty please post things about style and less about how someone comes across in an interview (which obviously isn't even viewed the same way by people)? These interviews are being taken way too seriously anyway. And I'm sorry if I sound cranky about this but it's getting really old.

My oh my, ok then.

The last bit was a joke. If I offended you with my flipflop-sweater aside, I apologize:innocent:

Hahaha, 'Were you?', Panic at the disco suck on it! I just think she's insulting to Americans, they have to get Brit lingo and/or humour/sarcasm etc...

hardley... she always sounds like that ....

I couldn't agree more - I'm surprised that people are so shocked by the interview cos its nothing new. imo she comes across quite badly most of the time especially when she interviews people, she seems to be copying Simon Amstells interviewing technique (although to be fair so have the other t4 presenters) but she can't pull it off because she doesn't have his natural wit so she just ends up coming across as a bit of a b*tch.

anyway... some old modelling stuff

I didn't find her bitchy in that interview, PATD were acting so annoying

That interview with the Telegraph was definately her worst so far, usually I think she's well-spoken and seems to take fame etc with a pinch of salt. I agree that people like Cate Blanchett are great because she has talent, brains and style. But Cate only wows me on the red carpet, and that doesn't provide me with inspiration for my day-to-day style in the way that Alexa does. She'll be at Glastonbury so we'll have something new to discuss...

That's not true. Popworld was the complete opposite of shows with indifferent polite hosts, it was very tongue-in-cheek. The interview wasn't uncomfortable because PATD are uncool, but because they were being self-important and humourless. Alexa has been friendly and warm with other emo bands like Fall Out Boy and uncool acts like McFly, Take That and Matt Willis.

I love love LOVE the shoes she's wearing in that clip!

And I think that interview would have been funny and perfectly civilized had the band members not been so obstinate. The questions she was asking were silly; they just weren't quick and clever enough to come up with interesting answers.

:p as long as she keeps us entertaining with her clothes^_^

that is true! im hoping for some good outfits from her at glastonbury, especially with how nice the weather has been this week!!

i think her humour is quite like mine, dry, dark and incredibly sarcastic, wouldn't you say??

her shoes are/were from topshop, they still have similair ones in black i believe
