Alexa Chung

She might mean T4. I would say it's more of a launching pad for careers, like June Sarpong and Vernon Kay. It has a strong youth following, but it isn't really 'the biggest' show. People don't stay there forever, well, apart from Miquita.

To be honest, I find the latest interview quite boring. Alexa seems to run out of new ideas, she keeps saying almost the same things in all her intervews. And the author kinda compiled diffrent pieces from several articles about Alexa. Not good.

I'm also rather bored with Alexa's denim shorts+ outfits, I prefer her dress-based looks.
But the pictures from the photoshoot are awesome. I also enjoy the buzz about two-toned hair, I was thinking to dye mine in this way.

Is there a reason why she left one of the biggest shows in the UK (what i've heard) to come here and do a show that I dont think a lot of people watch?
I think it's much more riveting to have your own show than just to be a presenter. I guess Alexa has got lots of ambitions. And it was said in the article that the audience of her show has tripled for a month. It may increase by september and keep growing if they invite "the right" guests.

i am sure that if she collect more audience mtv will give her better time.
In my opinion she has great way of interviewing but i guess that no everybody catch it. But i am not sure if it's an issue of audience age or a nationality/cultural difference in general. For me, east european her ironic and cynic humor is perfect.

i think alexa is soooooooooooooooo bad at interviewing on It's On... i mean i can hardly watch it, i cringe so much at the awful conversations. i know interviewing well is hard, but i think she's terrible! so much awkwardness, fake laughter, bad jokes, etc ..

I agree with this, to an extent. As she is known for her style, she will always be asked what she likes/doesnt like and she's often asked the same style-based questions. When you have a certain look, philosophy & inspiration, those answers are, essentially, going to be the same. I wonder how her October Vogue article with differ from her last one and she has come up with a different angle or idea.

I guess too that she is mentioning Alex in that interview as she is more secure in her position - she has her own show, she's not just Alex Turners girlfriend. Also The Times is a reputable newspaper, it's not like tabloid who could mince her words so she might be more comfortable opening up. It was after all The Times that did that Day in the life of Alexa where she talked intimately about Alex in her life.

Haha, that last sentence made me literally LOL :D

I enjoyed reading that interview despite the frequently asked questions.
Does anyone know if Alexa still writes articles for The Independent newspaper?

That interview was bull****. How can you expect someone to be engaging and open up after you state that you are the kind of person that your boyfriend "should" not like???? I feel bad for her, if someone said that to me I would be offended!!!!
