Why do they always report someone has been 'dropped' by a label? It's inevitable that they'll change spokesmodels. Only Lancôme with Daria and Isabella Rossellini kind of kept the same women for a longer period

I agree that getting new spokesmodels is completely normal and expected but that press release was kinda shady though.

She should be glad that partnership lasted that long. Truth be told Alexa's mistake was running all over town with too many brands. Maybe it's better this way, now she can focus on her line.

Perhaps too understated for the Chelsea Flower Show. Something with a bit more colours or energy would suffice.

my favorite is the mandarin collar dress or the pinafore dresses.

It is pricey however. i would have preferred she priced the items at 3x the price of her marks and spencer items - that line was TOO cheap and chintzy.

i like nearly all of the alexachung items - but not enough to pay retail.

She's out of her mind. It's worse than her Madewell collection (which was good, and I loved), at 3 times the price.

I dunno, I see some items I would love to get my hands on (the trench, the kick flare jeans, the red satin Mary Janes, the pink corduroy trousers)

I think it very much depends on how it's styled though - Matches did a nice job of highlighting the strengths of the collection

agree: matches makes the collection covetable (but prices are high!)

In terms of staying power, Alexa towers over other it-girls such as Sienna, Alice Dellal, Leigh L etc. And a collection like this will solidify her cult. Shame about the super short cheongsam dress, because judged at face value it's downright ugly.
