Alexander McQueen S/S 11 LookBook

I say throw out the white stuff and the collection looks amazing. I also really like how Sarah has managed to keep the Mcqueen line really sensitive to the print in the cut of the clothes - the outstanding feature of Mcqueen in my opinion

wow! very beautiful! especially im in love with maxi dresses!

Incredible collection and surprisingly wearable. Does anyone know who the model is, by any chance?

Im sorry to go againts the grain .. but .. where are the MAD PATTERN CUTTING skills McQueen is famous for???

All I see its beautiful dresses styled beautifully. But for the first time Id have to say it lacks ... wheres the structure and the pizzaz (or however you type it!).

The edge is gone .. that rogue creature has gone and all we got left are the forest nymphs.

his last f/w collection was a bit too full of that rogue creature tbqh... i'm happy to see the forest nymphs for a while.

I didn't like what was presented on the runway, in fact I almost hated it, but most of this is plain gorgeous. I love it!

There's something about the golden fiery/floral like pattern dress in post #6 that I really like. The shape is very flattering.

I agree that the dresses are simple and wearable, but the collection lost the edge that the runway version had.

Where are the beautiful butterflies, flowers and embroideries?

McQueen was never mainstream...
His style is too "elaborate" and "weird" for some people.

I guess Sarah Burton is trying to be more commercial now...

McQueen's runway offerings were rarely mainstream. the things that landed in stores were pretty mainstream, but with a McQueen edge.

This is so depressingly boring. It is McQueen in name alone. It's just plain and conservative.
