do you mean the karma sutra? I remember it was from a couple of seasons ago and very rare. i don't know if they brought it out this season again. try calling the AM boutique in NY and maybe they can help you there.

^I'm not sure they will. A friend of mine called AMQ Vegas and was told by a snotty SA that the Kama Sutra scarves were fake.

Not only are they not very nice, they're obviously not very knowledgeable. I think your best bet for the Kama Sutra scarf is eBay. They pop up every so often but usually go for almost twice retail.

wow, can't believe how rude they were. the SA was really helpful when I was at the boutique in NY. I wanted to buy the navy scarf first and didn't really like it with the color of my skin so the SA recommended the cream/purple which I bought and really love. So I guess it always depends. Maybe they are more helpful in NY? Can't believe that they said the karma sutra ones were fake .

Ah I also ordered the polka dot skull scarf from Yoox. The delivery did take ages! Maybe I should be more forgiving, considering it was shipped from Italy. It's square. I think I still prefer the original design and the size seems bigger too.

There's another design that I'm also coveting. Similar to the shipwreck design (the one with anchors), it has snakes coming through the skull. Rather sinister. It might be a limited edition. Seems rare to find.

I kind of think when the skull scarf was extremely on trend last year or the year before, most people were not wearing the real McQueen ones, and it is rather easy to tell when someone does wear a real McQueen scarf. The texture, the print, etc. just look a lot better & very different from all the other knock-offs. So I didn't feel too bad wearing a real McQueen scarf then. Now the skull trend seems to have died down a lot; even more reason to wear a real McQueen scarf.

I want to find one so bad.Maybe I'll get lucky and a knockoff will appear in a thrift store, I'd be fine with that.

I think a powder blue one with dark pink skulls would look nice for spring.The contrast between the brutal looking skulls and the bright colors would be interesting.But maybe that's just me.

Zappos has so many unusual AM skull scarves for sale, but they only ship domestically within the US. SO frustrating! I wish they would ship to the UK one day!
