Alexander Skarsgard heads back into his hotel after a day of filming What Maisie Knew on Thursday (September 8) in New York City.
The 35-year-old actor carried with him a copy of the novel The Good Soldiers by David Finkel for some reading during downtime!

Alexander Skarsgard swings his young co-star on his arm on the set of What Maisie Knew on Friday (September 9) in New York City.
The 35-year-old actor got back to work on the drama and filmed scenes with co-star Julianne Moore in Chinatown.
The movie centers around a young girl who’s caught in the middle of her parents’ bitter divorce.
Alex will also be working on the upcoming film Disconnect, which follows a large group of characters who are affected and sometimes harmed by the Internet and other forms of modern communication.

^ he's in melancholia for such a short time and irrelevant character that it almost makes me smile that he's doing promotion for it, but of course it makes sense and it's a pleasure :smile:
and anyway even if he's in it for a short time, he looks absolutely flawless, it's unfair!
 
Alexander Skarsgard smiles while making an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday (September 12) at Rockefeller Center in NYC.
The same night, the 35-year-old actor attended Mulberry’s 40th anniversary celebration on the rooftop at Skylight West, where he met up with actress Rose Byrne.
After the party, Alex and Jane Eyre director Cary Fukunaga stopped by NYC’s newest hotspot Electric Room beneath Dream Downtown Hotel.
Over the weekend, Alex premiered Melancholia at the Toronto International Film Festival with co-star Kirsten Dunst.
