Alexander Wang S/S 2026 New York

Remember when 11 victims came forward exposing him for sexual assault and/or drugging them without consent only 4 years ago? Then he quietly settled with them, “apologizing” so we wouldn’t hear about it anymore. I do, and I think that’s all we should talk about when we bring up this past expiration ran thru power bottom and everyone associated with helping whitewash his history. It’s a good thing his family and friends can afford to reenergize company bank accounts for him, even in his 40s. Beyond that, it’s another season, year, etc., of cheaply made clothes for people with daddy issues and chronic TikTok syndrome. Fashion Nova and SHEIN already sell most of this and for cheaper, likely made in the same factory too.

Thanks for writing this. He and his crew were disgusting (around the early 2010s is when I had the most exposure to them). I think anyone going out to the same clubs during this era has a story about them. Just awful people, awful behavior all around. Mean girls on steroids.

Part of the appeal of his shows was his ability to have top girls in the casting.
They used to really make a difference.

Without an A-list cast to support a Z-list collection, this feels totally irrelevant.

Thankfully he has a great business but clearly he can pay celebrities but cannot pay for the big heads of the industry to embrace him again.

Nothing special, nothing groundbreaking, but I like a lot of it.
As for the rest, Wang was never charged with, or convicted of any crimes, that I'm aware of.
He's making his moves, and the industry will slowly, but surely welcome him back.

Alexander Wang And The Disappearing Lawsuit

New information has come to light that suggests Wang has settled with his alleged victims

On Monday evening, U.S. time, Alexander Wang published a statement to his personal Instagram page recognising the sexual assault allegations against him, “regretting” the pain it caused his victims.

“A number of individuals have come forward recently to raise claims against me regarding my past personal behaviour. I support their right to come forward, and I’ve listened carefully to what they had to say,” the statement read. “It was not easy for them to share their stories, and I regret acting in a way that caused them pain. While we disagree on some of the details of these personal interactions, I will set a better example and use my visibility and influence to encourage others to recognise harmful behaviours,” it continued. “Life is about learning and growth, and now that I know better, I will do better.”

In nearly the same breath, civil-rights attorney Lisa Bloom published a statement to Twitter on behalf of her 11 clients who have accused the designer of misconduct, saying they are “moving on” from the matter.

“We have met with Alexander Wang and his team. My clients had the opportunity to speak their truth to him and expressed their pain and hurt,” Bloom said in her tweet. “We acknowledge Mr. Wang’s apology and we are moving forward. We have no further comment on this matter.”

THANK YOU

If Versace dumps Dario and hires Tisci, will it have this same reaction?

( I think Wang is repulsive btw so just asking out of curiosity! )
For me as a victim yes I will find it grossly inappropriate and wrong. However as you can see others are happy to overlook things for the “art” or when they want to feel big about themselves for a day so they get on here.

Like I said. The collection is not bad, but It does feel a bit dated. He would benefit from sharpening his tailoring and considering his models better.

There are some good ideas here like the nipped square looks and the use of the fur. I wonder who will pick him for print.
