Ali Michael

Yea I feel extremely bad for critisizing her. Its her choice to model whatever she wants. Shes a model .. she is depicting someone else not herself. I feel like sometimes we look at her as though shes so young because of her face so we're more overtly into .. I don;t know protecting her but shes just a model .. a person whose doing her job.

they where probably the type of ppl who thought blonde hair, orange skin =equals pretty. well she should know i am so majorly jealous of her looks!!

^
I don't find bleach blond tangerines attractive. :yuk:

Ali's look is fresh, classic and beautiful. That's what makes her stand out as a model. That, and her very chill personality and intellect.

Those crazy t-shirts are so adorable! In the Terry Richardson campaign. The ones with the little monster animals. Ali looks so freakin cute!

imo Erin spoils the campaign and Ali looks sooo good in it, it would have been better if she did it solo (with the boy of course). Nice to see her smile :)

Something I have always noticed about Ali's work, even back in her early Teen Vogue days, is that she (along with the photographer) is able to create very thought-provoking pictures. Like, I always wonder what the story of the character she is modeling is.

Awesome ed  I'm very happy that we finally get to see something new of Ali :) Great! Hopefully there'll be more to come.

Too bad Ali wasn't at shows, but she made it up with the fabulous print work which came out during fashion weeks and the amazing editorial in the Last magazine :heart: I'm especially in love the 4th photo, standing under the wall

I love how mysterious and magical that shoot is. In a way there's a little bit of those qualities in Ali too... which I think makes her such a great and captivating model.

Never say never: Casting at Viva

Ali Michael @ Viva
Ali didn't show up this season on any catwalk but got two recent covers in less time you need to say it. She looked at her very best on both Mixte and Wallpaper, showing her strong/unique look doesn't keep her away from being versatile. There's something playful about the way she poses even if there is this rather dark, dramatic vibe around her (thick brows, pale skin and intense gaze). We weren't her first supporters since day one but her editorial work won us over. Page after page, magazine after magazine and no matter who was the photographer. Her Lula cover or editorial from Vogue Russia by KT Auleta are still among the masterpieces of her career but seem to call for other ones. Hope soon. At least we have this one which perfectly summarize Ali's trademark (without getting gimmicky).
