Alicia Keys Says She's Been Lucky in Love

Alicia Keys is rumored to be engaged to DJ Swizz Beatz, and although neither star has confirmed the rumors, the singer has revealed that she's lucky in love.

She said: "I've never dated a ton of people, I've always been a one-guy kind of girl, but I have to say that I've always been lucky with love, blessed with it. Overall I haven't had any terrible relationships -- apart from a couple of little stupid ones when I was younger, but at that age you kinda can't help it."

Keys added, "But I've always had really great guys in my life, you know? They've been very stable men as well. I need a guy who is strong-minded, not intimidated by me -- I don't like those kind of guys."

Alicia is also thrilled to have reconciled with her father after being estranged for several years, and she's now forming a relationship with her half-brother.

She told You magazine: "He is 18 and the sweetest, handsomest person on earth. I never felt like I was lacking anything when my father wasn't there during my childhood -- thanks to my mother and grandmother, I felt I had everything. And I think my reconciliation with my father has just been a matter of growing up. There was never any malice on any side and I understand life better now, that nothing is cut-and-dried."

I am a fan of Alicia Key's music, but after the whole thing with Swizz Beatz came out, my respect for her has dropped. And it's really unfortunate because previously I looked up to her highly.

Oh well, she is human after all.

At a Gotham Magazine party in NYC last night, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats stepped out together as a couple for the first time. In case you haven't heard the whispers on the playground, Swizz is currently going through a messy divorce from his wife Mashonda. Shi* got dirtier after Mashonda wrote an open letter accusing Alicia Keys of Sienna Miller-ing her marriage. And here we are now. But on to more important matters, did Alicia replace her bottle of Proactiv with Swizz's pencil peen (you know that's what it looks like), because her skin looks like Tommy Girl's as* cheeks if he gets too close to a bottle of anti-depressants. And I know Swizz looks like a perma stoner with a bad case of the farts, but I still would. I can't help it, but his Adrien Brody nose is making my b-hole want to scoot on over.
