Alicia Keys wants to be a mommy, though don't expect her to be showing a baby bump anytime soon. She just got engaged to music producer Swizz Beats, and kids are part of the plan down the line, but she has a lot more planned for the more immediate future.

She said: “I absolutely am very interested in starting a family. It is one of the most beautiful experiences to have in this life and I am looking forward to it when it is my time. I have a lot of things I still want to do. As far as retirement goes, I just wanted to have the ability, if I so choose, to be able to do so. But I fell that I am just getting started.”

In 2007, she had a role in Smokin’ Aces and The Nanny Diaries, then she had a larger part in The Secret Life of Bees in 2008. Now it sounds like she's even hoping to expand her acting endeavors even further, and possibly bringing her skills to the stage. She explained: “I love acting and producing, and I am developing some ideas for TV and film, and also for Broadway. I am excited about that. I really want to create a new musical. I think it’s time.”

Armani Costumes

Alicia Keys has tapped her friend, designer Giorgio Armani, to design a custom wardrobe for her upcoming The Element of Freedom European tour.

The four signature Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani looks include a military leather jacket with crocodile print, a one-shoulder top in silk cady, a one-shoulder silk chiffon gown in dark grey, and a black mini dress in viscose lamé.

The Element of Freedom tour kicked off in Lisbon, Portugal on April 29 and continues throughout Europe until early June 2010.
