Love the sun-kissed look on Amy, but the cover looks very dated. I cannot get behind this basic, pedestrian type of styling which Americans clearly seems to be fond of.

She looks fantastic! Like 20 years younger than she actually is fantastic. The cover and the second image in which she is wearing the orange dress are sublime. I don't think I've ever seen her look better in photographs. It's too bad that the rest of the editorial falls flat, mainly because of the styling. That yellow dress/bikini bottom combo is doing her absolutely zero favors. The dress doesn't fit her right and the angle is unflattering. Still, though, the perfection of the cover and the corresponding images in the editorial almost make up for the highly underwhelming Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid and Naomi Campbell covers from the past 2 months.

This is so lovely and fresh! Especially the shots in orange are truly beautiful.

Not an admirer of all those different fonts but I can certainly admire the fact Carter Smith and Allure opted for a very natural and untouched shot of Amy for the cover. This feels like a breath of fresh air!

This is something that I'd love to see in US Vogue (with better clothes though)...

Allure recently got a new editor or something... This issue marks a noticeable change in content. Usually I breeze through their issues. A lot more written content here. There is a travel feature, which Allure never has. It's taking me more time to read this issue than most of the 2015 and 2014 Vogue issues, which I flew through (because Vogue's content has gotten so bad, and their written content has been scaled down a lot.)

There is a travel feature, which Allure never has. It's taking me more time to read this issue than most of the 2015 and 2014 Vogue issues, which I flew through (because Vogue's content has gotten so bad, and their written content has been scaled down a lot.)

Thanks for pointing that out!! Because of their low page count and hit-and-miss content over the past two years, I really dont go out of my way to even page through it.
They do have a new EIC - Michelle Lee, previously at Nylon.
