Fernanda's cover made it's way to our side of the pond and despite it's pitiful pamphlet-like state I still got it. The pink is way more pleasing in peerson. In Michelle's editor's letter she somehow feign surprise at how it took the magazine 18 years since Lucy Liu to cover another Asian face.
It's really a quick, disposable read. The subject of hair could've been expanded so much more. Famous cuts and the women behind them, historical styles, next to all the indie fluff Allure eventually went with. That's what magazines are about. Mixing the trivial with the profound. Whatever is in the mag could easily be sourced from an online portal. Even the photography. I don't think Allure will survive much longer.
