Tbh, he is a very skilled designer. He is not one of those who is strong enough to have his own line. He is exactly the type who needs a bigger name in order to shine... And when I say bigger name, I don’t mean Couture house or Top 5 luxury brands. Ferragamo, Tod’s, Bally...etc. All those brands that are good but not cool enough. Obviously, he has a certain success and some type of integrity to still be there in 2020 (Where is Jason Wu?).

The tan knit dress with the boots is straight out of a Pheobe's Céline Pre-collection but I don't remember which exactly.

I do think he's very skilled. As I have seen some of his stuff in person and also from his designs. I do think there's a language in his design. But the problem with him is that the language is limited and he's not as big or as marketing-forward type of designer to make it (like many basic average designers today are.) I do think many of his pieces sell to actual customers who are not going for the hype or super trends. Perhaps, he can rejuvenate Tod's or Bally.

Some looks are actually not bad but his whole brand just lacks a strong identity.

Why the weird work-in-progress style pictures inbetween the looks ? They don’t say anything interesting about the clothes apart from that a neckline was too small. And we know he approved the checks because they’re in the looks . It’s looks like you’re trying to tell a story where there isn’t one . I like this collection for its commercial sense, but at least be honest about it.
