I did the other topic on Amanda and was uber arrogant and
ignorant.

But this one is so great and it's got amazing pictures.

One thing though:

I've been constantly hearing that she's the new gia?
How, I mean yes they're both lesbians and some-what
butchy but one had AIDS and a very strong heroin
addiction that let to AIDS. They also don't look anything
alike., maybe somewhat in the eyes but Gia's eyes
weren't as intense or intimidating as Amanda's, know
what I mean?

I just don't understand the basis of that opinion.

well both being lesbians and butch are bound to get them compared there are very few self confesed lesbian models. And her lifestyle is almost similar the tabloids are always writting about her fights and jealous bouts

Hey,

I have only heard about one fight. And that was when she punched some man
because he was seeing her Girl-friend.

I don't blame her for that one, I would hit him as hard as I could of.

But I don't think their life-style is at all similar.

Just does not make any sense.

Is there any new news on Amanda lately?

She didn't really do that many fashion shows, or
I wasn't at the ones she was at.

I think I only saw her in Proenza Schouler in NY this season. She was kinda MIA.

Also, I always thought Amanda REMINDED me of Gia. They don't look alike in any way but a guess her aura makes me think of Gia.

I think Amanda is a little similar to Gia in coloring, posing and attitude - but while Gia was rather femme on camera (sometimes anyway - she could show a more 'vulnerable' side), butch off camera, Amanda is butch both on and off (and then there are those bridal magazine images, hehe). The facial structures aren't particularly similar, though.
