Leaving Art Material store in Los Angeles - 27/12/11

i really like the red pants on her

Ugh, I'm in love with that bag!!! I'm going to stalk her so I can steal it off of her.

She managed to make me like red jeans. I think it's because she kept everything else so clean and simple.

^Agreed. Red jeans look best when everything else is basic. It almost makes me want to pick up a pair myself

^^ Ditto. I used to scoff when I saw girls trying to look trendy in red jeans...but Amanda seems to make them look nice!

I'm pleased she's joind the Les Mis cast, she'll be an interesting Cosette, at least this role will test her opera training, and no matter how well she does, next to Taylor Swift (the first casting mis-step in all the films perfection) she'll look and sound incredible!

label: the cast gives me hope, but the story creeps me out =/ is this the movie Lilo was once attached to or the other one? there were two versions, right?

re: Les Miserables...the casting of Swift turned my excitement into disinterest tbh

This is the other one. Lindsay's one is ''Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story''. Release date is for 2013 whereas Amanda's ''Loveless'' is for 2012.

I still don't understand why they are making another Les Miserables. I wouldn't be surprised if it flops like Nine.

I would like to see Amanda in another comedy. All her movies seem to be drama/action lately.

^^ The other versions of Les Mis haven't been the musical though. It's the longest running musical in the world, the stage production has grossed over $1.8 billion and been seen by over 50 milllion people worldwide. It's a juggernaut, the fan base is extraordinary. Cameron Mackintosh has such a tight grip on this that it should be great. Of course, all that doesn't mean it will be a hit in cinemas but it gives it one hell of a starting point, in comparison to something like Nine, which is not a nearly as well know worldwide. It was never going to be a massive hit no matter what they did with it.

Cosette is a great role for Amanda, it's easy to assume because she's done Mamma Mia she's half way there but she's really going to have work for it, I'm really interested to see what she does with the part and tp see her work with Eddie.

That last look really does her no favours at all.
