me too. i was actually quite ready last week for her to go but not this week because Jason wasn't good, obviously


and i've never thought Syesha would be the last girl standing
i honestly thought it would either be Carly or Brooke

while i feel that syesha is the least distinct in terms of image/personality/musical style, i have to say i'm happy that she's there...she deserves it...she's very talented...she has a really great voice and although her music doesn't resonate with me the way brooke's does, i think it is FAIR that she's there...and i am all about justice!. all things considered, she definitely deserves to be there, and i am at least happy about that.

There is no doubt in my mind that Jason Castro wants to go home. There is no way that someone who was talented enough to make it to the end of the road could possibly trainwreck the way he did tonight unless they meant to.

i didnt really like the theme tonight...or perhaps the song choices...i found them kind of dull {well mainly david cook's} i also find it frustrating to have each contestant sing two songs and only be able to sing about 90 seconds of each- it just doesnt give the song enough time to develop, and i find it very short and distracting. oh well!. having said that...

david cook....i think he'll win...he's very good...but i didnt like his song choices tonight...too rock for me, i cant relate at all, and i found them both pretty boring to be honest. his performances were good...i just dont like the songs.

david archuleta...i loved his song choices, both of them. he sang beautifully...he holds a note so tenderly, it's gorgeous. i think he'll be in the final 2 with the other david. my only complaint is that he sounds the same every week, and he makes every song sound the same. but i guess maybe that's consistency, and having a strong sense of himself as a vocalist. i'm not sure yet...he's just lost a little bit of his novelty for me.

syesha i was shocked to see her cry. finally some emotion!. it was a relief. i loved how different the two songs were. she did proud mary really well. her energy was great. her voice is really powerful, but i still get a bit bored as i watch her. i just wonder what's different about her...what will separate her from someone like beyonce or alicia keys....great young girls with great voices.

jason i loved both his song choices, they are some of the best songs in music history and i thought they suited him. i really liked i shot the sheriff, actually, he had a great feel for the song and good energy, but his vocals just didnt stand up. i loved the way he responded to simon though.."i was thinkin' bob marley!! yeah!!!"...awesome moment i liked hey mr tambourine man too. i didnt think he was as bad as the judges did tonight, actually.

if i think about sitting through an entire concert of any one of these artists, or even through an entire record, i'm just not sure i could do it. david archuleta maybe, because his voice is so pretty. david c. and syesha are undeniably talented, jason is a cool guy, but i dont know, they just dont speak to me personally. to be honest, i am a bit bored with all of them, and a bit bored with the show now that brooke is gone. i know she wasnt the best vocalist, and i may stand alone when i say this, but something is missing without her there.

I feel bad for Syesha because regardless of what she does she will be going home tonight. Based on last nights performances (imo) David Cook & Syesha should be the Final 2.

I want Archie to win. I love him and I just can't imagine them declaring Cook the winner, with Archie off to the side more than likely looking brokenhearted.
