i cant believe we're down to the final already it has all gone so quickly...
i sort of thought for a while now it would be the 2 davids at the final, so i'm not surprised at all....i dont know who should win....there are reasons on both sides...and my main concern is that the result of this competition is fair and reflects real talent, so i'm pleased...either way, i think the result will be just. they are both very talented artists and have the potential to have a fantastic career. i guess i think archuleta has the sweeter, more emotive voice...i would love to see him win for that, and because i think he is perfect for the 'idol' image...whereas david cook will do really well now, and possibly even better, without actually winning. either way will be fine...i'm so curious to see how america votes..

I don't really mind which of the David's wins at this point, because I like them both & I think they both deserve it - plus, either way they'll both get record deals, no doubt about it.

I cannot believe this is really happening... I mean, c'mon, David Archuleta was just better last night. David Cook is great and super talented, but Archuleta was just better.

David A. was better last night but last week David Cook & Syesha were the best so they should have been the Final 2. Anyways, I feel bad for David A. I hear his father is a real nut case and stage parent to the max.

I'm not really crazy about either but overall David A is the better singer but David Cook is I believe more marketable. I just know Simon is cheesing like a Cheshire Cat. Oh how interesting that he would be so negative to David Cook last night when he's been going around saying that he thinks David Cook deserved to win the most. Reverse Psychology at its finest.

while i'm happy for david cook, i do feel a bit sad that archuleta didn't win...he just had such a beautiful, beautiful voice {i know others disagree, let's not go there. }.....having said that, archuleta is probably a bit too young for the whole thing and i am pleased that someone like cook who i get the sense has been working towards this for many years now has the opportunity to live his dream...i think he is definitely the most 'alternative' idol so far so i'm interested to see how he'll deal with all the idol stigma, as well as the commercial pressures, record company contraints etc. i have this feeling he might feel really frustrated by the lack of creative control but hopefully he is given a good amount of freedom in recording his album and choosing/writing/arranging material....

i'm sure archuleta has a fabulous career ahead of him anyway..with a voice like that how could you not. he probably would have passed out had he won anyway... and cook was really sweet after he won, hugging archuleta and including him in the final song.....it was very cool to see

i cant believe this season is over!!!! i miss it already....

i think my favourite part was cook's brother, at the end, after cook finished his song, mouthing to the camera "That's my brother!!!!" what a beautiful moment...and what a wonderful soul, especially seeing as HE is the one who originally wanted to be on idol!. amazing....

ps. how cool was syesha with seal, and brooke with graham nash brooke picked the perfect song with the perfect artist, imo. couldnt have done better. i guess i was secretly hoping for carly simon but i know she hates big crowds so i wasnt expecting her to show up.

oh and how could i forget....GEORGE MICHAEL!!!!
..i dont care what goes on in that man's personal life, his talent is out of CONTROL . that song was magnificent....the perfect moment...he really outshone everyone there. so professional, so emotional, so moving...just amazing. i love him...
