well i supose it was a long time since her first album frank cant quite think of when i got it so it might just be natural progression, but i just found it strange that she poped up with this new album and looked completely different.

Wow in terms of music style Frank is completely different to Back to Black, so I don't think it's unusual that her personal style has too. Then there's the dramatic weight loss - she used to have curves to fill out the 50's bombshell look she had going on back in the day, but now it's more rockabilly. I believe also that the HUGE hair is kind of her way of drawing attention away from her controversial figure...

She's evolving...the girl actually admitted that she's not really happy listening to Frank now because it was more controlled my music producers etc...but with her latest album she felt she had more input and control over the music..so perhaps her style had also been controlled by her music label and now she's able to flourish in her own way.

Amy's style is not my personal style but I can appreciate it.

oh i don't think it's a criticism by any means, more just pure curiosity. Frank is very different and i love back to black, one of my fav. albums. but it is quite dramatic so i think it's perfectly natural to wonder. for me it feels like much more than a natural progression but at the same time sometimes different things inspire and you want to emulate it so it makes sense

yes frank and back to black are different but not too different i think it still has that jazz and soul feel to it which both albums have.

My fave song..man, this is tough...it's a toss-up between You Know I'm No Good/ Some Unholy War and Just Friends...I can't choose!

argh! When i first heard Some Unholy War i really didn't like it but it totally grew on me and now i love it. all the songs just bring such different things thoguh some how seem to all deal with the same themes (boys are bastards! ) i wish i hadn't left my cd in canada. i really want some amy w. right now

I've heard some, her voice is pretty cool, but it's not really music I like to listen to. Saw her in a talk show btw, and she sounded so stupid... heh.
