Q: You were born in France and now live in New York. Does
your style change when you are on either side of the Atlantic?
A: My style definitely changes from Nice to NY, or Nice to Paris! I
keep it the simplest in Nice because it’s very hot there in the summer
when I visit. I wear basic pieces like simple jeans with a white top and
some accessories (bracelets, rings). I keep it chicer in Paris, a bit
more “la Parisienne.” And in NYC everything is permitted so I
definitely wear more eccentric pieces.
Q: What are the three clothing items that are on your
shopping list for summer?
A: New sandals, a new bag in a pastel color and some new
swimsuits…the list can go on!
Q: How would you describe your personal style?
A: Now, this is a tricky question for me. I love clothes so much that I
have probably tried it all already. The most important thing for me is
to keep it chic. I love pieces nobody else has. I often lie when people
ask me where my look is from. But I can see my personal style
evolving into something more grown up, a little more “business
woman” maybe.
Q: Where do you get style inspiration?
A: I love learning from and getting inspired by people outside of
[Western] society. They have their own styles and never copy
anyone. I love the women in India and in Africa, even South America.
I love their sensibility and the way they are able to mix the colors.
They look so chic to me.
Q: What’s your favorite look from today’s shoot and where
would you wear it?
A: I love them all, but I will choose look 3 because I’m a fan of
nude. I definitely see myself wearing it on the streets of Saint-Tropez.
