^^ I agree. Androgyny to me is - not uncertainty, but something like it - ambiguity about gender. Not being quite sure.
Jay Dezelic's designs seem like they're bordering more on guys-in-girls'-clothing than androgyny. Which doesn't mean I don't like them, I think they're awesome.
Although I don't think this set succeeds, I must say it's cool because it's bold. If you scan through this thread, there is very much skinny, very feminine girls with masculine suits etc. I like the idea of femine clothes on, if not macho then at least more masculine boys. I think that to do this you need the other kind of masculine man than used above. If you think of the masculine man you got two types (more, really, but for this example, well... just go with it ) - the metropolian masculine business-man - kind of like Patrick Bateman just not psychotic Then you have the second type of masculine man, the more alpha-male barbaric male, abit wild, long hair, you get the picture.
If you are going to make feminine-inspired clothing for men (which is a great idea! YSL woman-suit just the other way around) then you should get the proper models, this idea has sooooo much potential. Best of luck
