lovely video - so what is actually her position on fur? i remember she once staged a protest against some guy for torturing dogs in an art show on her old website, so she must be passionate about it

^ she said that she's not agains it. she has 5 fur coats but she doeasn't buy any new. Few of them she receive as a gift. Anja said that it's better to buy a fur from a good fashion house because they buy furs from people who treats animals much better. But she said that this is an individual thing and she doesn't judge people because of that.

what does "treating animals better" mean? That they do not torture them before killing them or what? Either way they kill them and I see no good treatment in killing a creature to make a coat!
Unfortunatelly most models wear fur and are not against it. I know only 1 model who is famous for refusing to wear fur on shoots and this is Brazilian model Fernada Tavares...this is why Anna Wintour never used her for US Vogue ever again.

Anja said that she isn't against wearing fur, but she said it's better to buy a fur that costs a lot of money than buy a fur that was... cheap, because when you buy the fur for a lower price, then "we" know that the animals were treated badly, but the fur that comes from fashion house, expensive fur, then they kill the animals but treat them better. I personally think what she said is bullshit... They're killing these animals anyway, it doesn't mattter if they treat them good or badly, they kill them, but it's an offtopic now.
