Anja Rubik

With the exception of that Gucci look, I'm really loving her style recently.

How famous is she in Poland? I'd assume at least somewhat well known since she has the paparazzi following her.

I think she becomes a true star in Poland after TV shows like "Top Model" and "Project Runway".

Model Anja Rubik’s Surprising Leg Workout, Revealed: Her Scene-Stealing Turn at Anthony Vaccarello

Backstage at Anthony Vaccarello tonight, model Anja Rubik was posing before a wall of photographers in a short black coatdress stitched with hundreds of silver grommets—but once she hit the runway, it was her sculpted, mile-long legs that arguably stole the show. “Anthony is a really good friend of mine. I love his clothes, which outline the body beautifully. I love his vision of a woman,” she said of making a rare Paris Fashion Week appearance in celebration of the designer’s sensual aesthetic. “She’s quite tough, but she’s sexy—and she’s definitely not afraid to show a little skin.”
It helps, of course, when the skin (and the body) in question happens to involve supermodel genes. But Rubik is also quick to credit regular sessions of her favorite workout with keeping her Fashion Week–ready. “I do a lot of weight lifting actually—I love it,” she says of her near daily routine, which involves toning her arms, legs, and core with multiple sets of free weights and an old-school barbell. It’s an admission that may surprise those who associate bench-pressing with bulk. “I’m naturally very thin, so it’s hard for me to put on muscle. Weight lifting was something that everyone told me not to do [as a model]. But I’ve tried so many things thoughout the years and it’s really the best one for my body,” she explains. “I have a trainer in New York that I work with there and when I’m traveling, I have a set of exercises that I repeat at the gym on my own.” Back in Manhattan, she’s also a fan of twice-weekly sessions at Body by Simone, supplemented by yoga and Pilates classes. “I always try to find that 20 to 30 minutes to work out each day, even when the Fashion Week schedule is tight. It’s easier if you keep up with it—and mentally you just feel good.” Spoken like a true superbody.
